Peugeot is a brand people choose with their eyes first. Over the past decade the French marque has rebuilt its standing on sharp, distinctive styling and cabins that feel a cut above the mainstream, built around the i-Cockpit layout with its compact steering wheel and high-set dials.

There are eight Peugeot models in our prices today, covering SUV, hatchback, estate, saloon and MPV body styles. Every one of them can be had as an electric car; six are offered with petrol, four as plug-in hybrids and two with diesel.

Choosing between them comes down to size and seats more than anything else. If you want a raised driving position without much extra metal to park, the compact 2008 SUV is the natural starting point, and the range grows steadily from there.

Peugeot is a long-established French manufacturer known for design-led styling, comfortable everyday cars and a distinctive cabin layout. Every model we price carries the same 3-year / 60,000-mile manufacturer warranty, which makes comparing the range simpler than it often is.

Reviewers consistently praise the brand's exterior design and interior quality, and they're equally consistent in saying the i-Cockpit driving position divides opinion - it's worth sitting in one before you commit. Ride comfort and refinement tend to score better than outright driving thrills.

The spread of sizes is wide for a mainstream brand, running from the 208 at 4.10 m to the Traveller at 5.33 m. All eight models we price are available in electric form, which puts Peugeot among the more thoroughly electrified mainstream badges.

The Peugeot range we lease

Eight models, five body styles. Three are SUVs, two are hatchbacks, and there's one estate, one saloon and one MPV. Each has its own page with the full trim and powertrain choice, and every deal we hold sits below.

MPV

The Peugeot Traveller is the people-mover of the range, seating six or nine depending on version and measuring about 4.98 m long. It's electric only, across three trims, and suits taxi work, large families and shuttle duties. Deals start from £512.23 a month.

SUV

The Peugeot 2008 is the compact SUV, 4.30 m long with five seats, a 434-litre boot and braked towing up to 1,200 kg. Petrol or electric, four trims, and easy enough to place in a tight multi-storey. Deals start from £210.73 a month.

The Peugeot 3008 is the family SUV: 4.54 m long, five seats, a 588-litre boot and a 4-star Euro NCAP rating. It tows up to 1,550 kg braked, the most of any Peugeot we price, in petrol, plug-in hybrid or electric form. Deals start from £455.59 a month.

The Peugeot 5008 takes the same idea and adds a third row, with seven seats inside a 4.79 m body, a 348-litre boot behind them and a 4-star Euro NCAP rating. Petrol, plug-in hybrid or electric, and up to 1,300 kg braked towing. Deals start from £291.30 a month.

Estate

The Peugeot Rifter is the practical one - a boxy 4.41 m estate with five or seven seats and a boot of 775 to 1,050 litres depending on version. Diesel or electric, two trims, 1,300 kg braked towing. Deals start from £384.56 a month.

Saloon

The Peugeot 408 is the style pick: a five-seat saloon offered in petrol, plug-in hybrid and electric across three trims. If you want something that doesn't look like every other family car on the school run, it's the one to look at. Deals start from £364.78 a month.

Hatchback

The Peugeot 208 is the small hatchback, a shade over four metres long with five seats and a boot of 342 to 387 litres depending on version. Six trims, petrol or electric, and towing up to 1,200 kg braked. Deals start from £234.47 a month.

The Peugeot 308 covers the most ground of any single model here: petrol, diesel, plug-in hybrid and electric, three body styles with their own pages, and a boot from 314 to 599 litres. Five seats, 4.37 m, 1,550 kg braked towing. Deals start from £295.13 a month.

Electric and hybrid Peugeot models

Every Peugeot we price is available as an electric car: 208, 2008, 308, 408, 3008, 5008, Rifter and Traveller. The Traveller is electric only. Four models - 3008, 5008, 308 and 408 - also offer a plug-in hybrid.

That means you can go electric in almost any shape you need, from a small hatchback up to a nine-seat MPV, without changing badge. If your mileage pattern is short weekday runs and occasional long trips, the plug-in hybrid 3008, 5008, 308 or 408 splits the difference.

Why lease a Peugeot?

Leasing is a fixed-term rental: you pay an initial rental, then a set monthly figure for an agreed term and mileage, and hand the car back at the end. Warranty cover runs alongside it, at 3 years / 60,000 miles on every Peugeot we price.

On the electric and plug-in hybrid models, the 8-year / 100,000-mile battery warranty guaranteeing 70% of capacity typically outlasts a normal lease term by some margin. Servicing stays your responsibility unless you add a maintenance package.

The Rifter is a good example of why leasing suits vans-turned-family-cars: it's a tool for a particular phase of life, and a fixed term means you're not stuck with 1,050 litres of boot once the buggies and bikes have gone.

Which Peugeot should you choose?

Work backwards from what you actually need - seats, boot, towing, fuel - and the list shortens quickly. Here's how the eight models sort themselves out.

For town driving and tight parking, the 208 is the smallest Peugeot we price at 4.10 m. Need a little more height and a 434-litre boot? The 2008 is the compact SUV answer.

For a family of five, the 3008 gives you 588 litres of boot and a 4-star Euro NCAP rating. If you need seven seats, the 5008 does it in a 4.79 m SUV body, the Rifter offers five or seven with a boot of 775 to 1,050 litres, and the Traveller goes further again with six or nine seats.
