MG4
The launch of the latest and very impressive MG4 EV is offering a contemporary and, frankly, striking modern design, with excellent storage, rear-wheel drive and an impressive 270–280-mile range* if you choose the long-range versions’ and a 64kw battery that has a 10-80% charge time of 35 minutes from a rapid charging point.
Internally there is no compromise on technology with a 10.5-inch floating infotainment screen, adaptive cruise control and LED headlights that come as standard on the Trophy models. If you thought that style was a compromise with an electric vehicle, then this MG could be the car that changes your mind to consider zero emissions.
This recent Top Gear review sums up the MG4 nicely
“The MG4 brings range, equipment, zippy dynamics and style to the small electric car party. Why spend more on something else?”
MG 5
The super affordable MG5 comes in a conventional shooting brake style, with five seats and a 578 cubic litres load capacity (seats up). On one charge, it will cover a 250-mile range from the Electric 61kw power unit. It is available in two specifications, Excite and Exclusive, both levels offering excellent connectivity as well as a 3-level regenerative braking system*
MG 3
MG is not just about electric cars; there are great bargains with conventional engines, like the MG3 5dr supermini with great sporty looks, available with the 1.5 VVT-i petrol engine. It comes in two models, Excite and Exclusive, giving you Apple car play, a rear parking facility, and a full-colour touch screen; this car is great value for those looking for a car on a small budget.
MG ZS & ZS EV
If you are not ready for electric and you like the look of the ZS Compact SUV. In that case, you can get excellent leasing deals on this stylish hatchback with either a petrol or diesel engine, manual or auto, in two high spec trim levels, the Excite or Exclusive, the latter which gives you leather seats and a 360-degree parking camera. *
The MG ZS EV Compact SUV electric range consists of two power units, the 130 51kw standard range of 198 miles and the long-range 73kw 273 miles*. Both variants are available as SE, Trophy, or Trophy Connect (Connect not currently available) specifications. The latter comes complete with a Panoramic roof, six-way adjustable leather seats, 17” alloy wheels, and full multimedia connectivity.
MG HS
The MG HS is a spacious, stylish, and affordable full-size SUV available in 1.5 Ti GDI 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic. It is also available as a plug-in hybrid with a 32-mile EV range.* The Excite variant comes with the MG Pilot advanced driver system and heated seats, and the Exclusive has leather seats and a power tailgate, excellent value for the sale price.
Overall, MG is improving rapidly; interiors have gone from being functional on the original, earlier models like the MG6 to being stylish, comprehensive, and well-equipped; the new MG4 is the best yet.
The SUV style along with a spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped interior is bang on trend, and the MG’s seven-year warranty is an excellent bonus to customers with longer lease deals.
Great Value
With that in mind, leasing an MG EV is excellent value at a time when we are looking at personal budgets. And budgetting can be made even easier if you include a service plan that covers parts, service, and tyre repairs.
