View dealDS is the French premium brand spun out of Citroën, and it sells on design, comfort and cabins that look like nothing else at the price. The current DS line-up we lease runs to four models: three SUVs and one hatchback.
Powertrains are broad for a small range. All four models can be had as an electric car, three offer petrol and one adds a plug-in hybrid, so the badge works whether or not you're ready to give up the fuel filler.
Start with size. The DS 3 is the compact one at 4.12 m long, with five seats and a 350-litre boot, and it's the DS to pick if tight car parks and city streets shape most of your week.

DS is Stellantis' premium marque, created to revive the French luxury car. It trades on styling, quiet comfort and heavily decorated interiors rather than a sporting reputation, and every DS we price carries the same 3-year / 60,000-mile manufacturer warranty.
Reviewers consistently praise how a DS looks, inside and out - the detailing, the upholstery, the sense that the design studio was enjoying itself. Those same reviews are equally consistent that DS shares its engineering with mainstream Stellantis brands, and that German rivals feel sharper to drive.
The range stretches from 4.12 m in the DS 3 to 4.82 m in the NO8, so think compact-to-large rather than limousine. Electric power is offered on all four models, which is worth knowing if you're leasing through a company.
Four DS models are priced today: the DS 3, NO7 and NO8 SUVs, and the NO4 hatchback. All four seat five and all four share the 3-year / 60,000-mile manufacturer warranty, so the decision comes down to size, powertrain and how much you tow.
The DS DS 3 is the small one. At 4.12 m long with five seats and a 350-litre boot, it suits city and short-commute drivers, and you can have it as a petrol or an electric car across three trims. Braked towing runs to 1,200 kg. Deals start from £411.42 a month.
The DS NO7 is the family SUV of the range at 4.66 m, with a boot of 515 to 560 litres depending on version and a 4-star Euro NCAP rating. Petrol or electric, three trims, and braked towing up to 1,430 kg - the most of any DS we price. Deals start from £419.57 a month.
The DS NO8 is the electric-only flagship, 4.82 m long, with 581 to 621 litres of boot space depending on version and a 4-star Euro NCAP rating. Three trims, five seats, braked towing up to 1,400 kg. Deals start from £491.69 a month.
The DS NO4 is the range's hatchback and its most flexible choice: petrol, plug-in hybrid or electric, across five trims. It's 4.40 m long, seats five, carries 360 to 430 litres depending on version and tows up to 1,310 kg braked. Deals start from £458.86 a month.
Every DS we price can be leased as an electric car, and one of them can also be had as a plug-in hybrid. That gives you a full-electric option at four different sizes, which is unusual in a four-model range.
The NO8 is the electric-only model, 4.82 m long with 581 to 621 litres of boot space depending on version. The NO7 and the DS 3 pair electric versions with petrol alternatives, so you can compare the two on the same model page before you commit.
If you can't charge at home every night, the NO4 is the halfway house: it's the only DS here offered as a plug-in hybrid - petrol engine plus a battery you charge from the mains - alongside petrol and electric versions. Our electric and hybrid leasing guides cover charging, running costs and company car tax in more detail.
Leasing suits DS well. Every model here comes with a 3-year / 60,000-mile manufacturer warranty, so a typical three-year contract can sit largely inside the cover, with servicing to the manufacturer's schedule keeping that cover intact.
Contract hire also means you hand the car back at the end rather than worrying what a lower-volume premium badge is worth second-hand. FVL has arranged leases for over 25 years, and our role is the funding and the paperwork, not the road test.
The NO7 is a good example of why that matters: a 4.66 m family SUV with a 4-star Euro NCAP rating, available as a petrol or an electric car, and priced monthly either way so you can weigh the two side by side.
Work backwards from what you actually need. The DS 3 is the smallest and easiest to park at 4.12 m, with a 350-litre boot and five seats - the obvious choice for town driving and shorter journeys.
For family duty, the NO7 gives you 515 to 560 litres of boot space depending on version and a 4-star Euro NCAP rating, while the NO8 offers 581 to 621 litres depending on version in a 4.82 m body. Both seat five.
If you tow, the NO7 is the one: up to 1,430 kg braked. The NO4 manages 1,310 kg, the NO8 1,400 kg and the DS 3 1,200 kg.
Want to go fully electric? All four are available as electric cars, with the NO8 sold only that way. Prefer to ease into it, or can't charge at home? The NO4 is the only DS here offered as a plug-in hybrid.
And if you need seven seats, no DS in the current line-up will do it - every model we price is a five-seater. Our guide to choosing your car walks through mileage, term and spec once you've shortlisted.
