A guide to the current LEPAS line-up as First Vehicle Leasing can lease it: one five-seat plug-in hybrid SUV, the L8, with a 507-litre boot and a 7-year/100,000-mile warranty. Explains what the brand is for, how the L8 fits a family, and how to pick a version.
LEPAS is a design-led, electrified SUV brand created for European buyers who want the space, kit and quiet of a premium SUV without paying for a premium badge.
The current LEPAS line-up we price is compact: one model, in one body style. The L8 is a five-seat SUV sold only as a plug-in hybrid, and it carries a 7-year / 100,000-mile manufacturer warranty.
So choosing a LEPAS isn't really a choice between models yet. It's a question of whether a plug-in hybrid family SUV suits your mileage and your driveway, and then which of the two trims you want.

LEPAS is a design-led, electrified brand. It sells SUVs, and the model we price is a plug-in hybrid, backed by a 7-year / 100,000-mile manufacturer warranty across the line-up.
Reviewers have been consistent about what the brand does well. Space, generous standard equipment and a smooth, quiet plug-in hybrid drivetrain come up again and again, along with a cabin that looks and feels a step above the price bracket.
They're equally consistent about where it still has ground to make up. Ride comfort over poor surfaces and the last few percent of steering polish don't yet match the established European and Korean family SUVs, and the touchscreen menus take some learning.
What that adds up to is a brand worth judging on space, kit and running costs rather than on B-road entertainment. That's a fair trade for a lot of family buyers, and the warranty backs it up.
One model, one body style. The LEPAS range we can lease today is the L8, a five-seat SUV offered as a plug-in hybrid in two trims, with a 507-litre boot and braked towing up to 1,500 kg.
The LEPAS L8 is a family SUV for people who want rear-seat room and a long standard equipment list. It seats five, takes 507 litres of luggage, measures 4.69 m long and tows up to 1,500 kg braked. Deals start from £323.89 a month.
Every LEPAS we price is electrified. The L8 is a plug-in hybrid, meaning it pairs a petrol engine with a battery you charge from the mains, so short journeys can be driven on electricity and long ones don't need a charging stop.
For a driver stepping away from pure petrol, that's the gentlest version of the move. You get the day-to-day electric running if you plug in regularly at home or at work, and a petrol engine that simply takes over when the battery is flat.
Plug-in hybrids reward people who can charge. If you can't, you're carrying a battery around for nothing and the fuel figures on paper won't happen in practice. Our electric and hybrid leasing guides go through that decision in more detail.
The L8 is also the only LEPAS we price, so there's no fully electric alternative in the brand's line-up with us at the moment.
Leasing suits a young brand well. You take a fixed monthly rental, the manufacturer's 7-year / 100,000-mile warranty covers the car throughout a normal lease term, and at the end you hand the keys back without worrying what a new marque is worth second-hand.
Resale value is the part most people underestimate. With contract hire, the leasing company carries it, not you, which removes the main financial unknown around any brand still building its reputation in the UK.
Servicing stays with the franchised network, and you can add a maintenance package so routine work and tyres sit inside the monthly rental. FVL has been arranging leases for over 25 years, and our team can talk you through terms, mileage and initial rentals before you commit.
With one model in the range, the L8 answers every question here. It's the family car, the tow car and the electrified option, and at 4.69 m long it's the smallest LEPAS we price simply because it's the only one.
If you need a family SUV, the L8 is the one. Five seats, a 507-litre boot and the rear legroom reviewers single out make it a sensible fit for two adults, two children and a full boot on a Friday afternoon.
If you tow, the L8 handles up to 1,500 kg braked. That covers a modest caravan, a small trailer or a single-axle box trailer, though heavier loads need a different sort of car altogether.
If you're moving away from petrol, the L8's plug-in hybrid system is the brand's answer, and it's the right one only if you can charge regularly.
If you need seven seats, LEPAS can't help you yet. The L8 is a five-seater, so you'd need to look elsewhere. Our guide to choosing a lease car covers how to weigh seats, boot space and mileage against each other.
