Geely is one of the largest car makers in the world, and a familiar name in Britain by proxy - the wider group holds stakes in Volvo, Polestar and Lotus. Under its own badge, the current Geely line-up in the UK is three SUVs: two fully electric, one plug-in hybrid.

Geely is a Chinese manufacturer selling in the UK under its own name, focused on electrified SUVs with high standard equipment levels and long warranty cover. Two of the three models we price are fully electric; the third is a plug-in hybrid.
The engineering pedigree is real - Geely technology has been underpinning cars sold here under other badges for years - and reviewers tend to single out interior space and ride comfort as the strengths, with cabin controls buried in the touchscreen as the most common gripe.
The size spread runs from the compact EX2 up to the Starray at 4.74 m, so there's a genuine difference in footprint across a small range. The 8-year / 125,000-mile manufacturer warranty applies right across it.
There are three Geely models on our price list today and all three are SUVs. Two are electric, one is a plug-in hybrid, and each seats five. Below is what each one is for, with links to its own deals page.
The Geely EX2 is the small one - 4.14 m long, so it's the easiest of the three to thread through town and park. Five seats, a 375-litre boot, three trims and the same 8-year / 125,000-mile manufacturer warranty. Deals start from £256.91 a month.
The Geely EX5 is the electric family SUV: 4.62 m long, five seats, a 461-litre boot and four trims to choose from. It holds a 5-star Euro NCAP rating and the 8-year / 125,000-mile warranty. Deals start from £297.82 a month.
The Geely Starray is the plug-in hybrid, and the longest car here at 4.74 m. It seats five, carries 528 litres of luggage, comes in three trims and also holds a 5-star Euro NCAP rating. Deals start from £294.08 a month.
Every Geely we lease is plug-in. The EX2 and EX5 are fully electric, so there's no petrol engine at all, while the Starray is a plug-in hybrid that pairs battery power for short trips with an engine for longer ones.
If you can charge at home or at work and your mileage is predictable, one of the electric pair makes sense: the EX2 for shorter urban journeys, the EX5 if you want family space with 461 litres of boot. The Starray suits drivers who want electric running for the commute without planning longer trips around chargers.
