The current Leapmotor line-up we price runs to four models across two body styles: three SUVs and one hatchback. Every one of them is available as an electric car, and two also come as a range-extender plug-in hybrid.

Choosing is mostly about size and how you'll charge. Start with the Leapmotor B10 if you want a mid-sized SUV that can be had either as a pure EV or as a range-extender, with five seats, a 330-litre boot and a 5-star Euro NCAP rating.

About Leapmotor

Leapmotor sells value-led, technology-heavy electric cars through the Stellantis network in the UK. Its pitch is a lot of standard equipment for the money, very few options to wade through, and a warranty package that removes some of the risk of taking on a newer badge.

Every model we price carries a 4-year manufacturer warranty, with mileage limits varying by model. Reviewers are generally positive about the cabin space and equipment levels and more mixed about ride quality and the driver assistance systems, which is worth a test drive before you commit.

The range spans a lot of ground for four cars: 3.62 m at the T03 end and 4.74 m at the C10 end. That's the difference between a city runabout and a full-size family SUV, from one badge.

The Leapmotor range we lease

Four models, grouped into SUVs and one hatchback. Each has a single trim, so the choice is genuinely about body size, seat count and whether you want pure electric or a range-extender. Each model page below carries its own deals.

SUV

The B10 is the mid-sized SUV in the range, offered as an electric car or as a range-extender plug-in hybrid. It seats five, has a 330-litre boot, measures about 4.52 m long and holds a 5-star Euro NCAP rating.

The Leapmotor C10 is the family SUV, at 4.74 m long with five seats and a boot of 370 to 400 litres depending on version. Electric or range-extender, a 4-year manufacturer warranty and a 5-star Euro NCAP rating.

The Leapmotor T03 is the small electric one, 3.62 m long with four seats and a 210-litre boot. It suits town driving, tight parking and second-car duties, and comes with the same 4-year manufacturer warranty.

Hatchback

The Leapmotor B05 is the hatchback alternative to the SUVs, electric only, with five seats, a 345-litre boot and a 4.43 m length. Pick it if you want family-car space without the extra height of an SUV.

Electric and hybrid Leapmotor models

All four Leapmotor models we price are available as electric cars, and two of them - the B10 and the C10 - also come as a range-extender plug-in hybrid, where a petrol engine acts purely as a generator for the battery rather than driving the wheels.

If you can charge at home or at work, the pure EVs make the most sense: the T03 for short urban journeys, the B05 as a five-seat hatchback, and the B10 or C10 in SUV form. If your charging is unpredictable or your mileage is long and irregular, the range-extender versions of the B10 and C10 take the planning out of it.

Which Leapmotor should you choose?

Work backwards from what you need the car to do. Size and powertrain separate these four far more than trim does, because each model is sold in a single specification.

Smallest and easiest to park: the T03, at 3.62 m with four seats and a 210-litre boot. It's the one to choose if most of your driving is urban and you rarely carry more than one passenger.

Family car: the C10, 4.74 m long with five seats and a 370 to 400-litre boot depending on version, or the B10 at about 4.52 m with five seats and a 330-litre boot if you'd rather something slightly shorter. Both hold a 5-star Euro NCAP rating.

Don't want an SUV? The B05 is the hatchback, electric only, 4.43 m long with five seats and a 345-litre boot.

Pure electric with no petrol backup: the T03 and B05 are electric-only. Want the option of a range-extender instead? That's the B10 and the C10.
