Audi Q3 SUV Lease Deals

A guide to leasing the Audi Q3 SUV, covering the petrol, diesel, hybrid and plug-in hybrid options and all six trims from Technik to Vorsprung. It explains what each version gives you, how the SUV compares with the Q3 Sportback, and what to check before you order.

The Audi Q3 SUV is a five-seat premium compact SUV and the entry point to Audi's SUV range, sitting below the larger Q models. At 4.53 m long with a 2.68 m wheelbase, it's small enough for tight car parks but still carries 488 litres in the boot on petrol and diesel versions.

It suits drivers who want a car that feels expensive without being large: commuters, couples, and families with one or two children. Road testers consistently describe it as comfortable, easy to drive and strong on cabin technology, rather than thrilling.

Your choice comes down to three things - petrol, diesel, hybrid or plug-in hybrid; front- or all-wheel drive on the combustion engines; and six trims from Technik through to Vorsprung.

About the Audi Q3 SUV

The Q3 is Audi's smallest conventional SUV and one of its most familiar models in Britain. This is the third-generation car, on sale in this form since 2025, though a small number of previous-shape versions may still be around while stocks last.

Reviewers consistently praise the cabin technology - a curved display pairing a digital instrument cluster with a 12.8-inch touchscreen - and the composed, undramatic way it drives. The common criticism is that it prioritises calm over excitement, and that some lower cabin plastics don't match the price.

Practically, it's five seats, five doors and a boot of 375 to 488 litres depending on version, with 1,293 to 1,386 litres once the rear seats are folded. Audi covers it with a 3-year / 60,000-mile warranty, and Euro NCAP awarded five stars.

Q3 SUV or Q3 Sportback?

Choose the SUV if you load the boot to the roof or carry adults in the back regularly. Choose the Q3 Sportback if you prefer the sloping roofline and can live with slightly less usable space above the parcel shelf.

Both are 4.53 m long with five seats, five doors and the same 375 to 488 litres with the rear seats up. The difference shows with the seats folded: the SUV takes 1,293 to 1,386 litres against the Sportback's 1,196 to 1,289 litres, and the Sportback's roof sits at 1.55 m.

Towing is close, too - up to 2,200 kg braked for the SUV, up to 2,200 kg for the Sportback. You can see both shapes together on the full Audi Q3 range page.

Why lease an Audi Q3 SUV?

Because the standard specification is unusually complete for a compact premium SUV, which means you can lease a well-equipped car without hunting through the options list. Leasing also keeps you inside the 3-year / 60,000-mile warranty period on a typical contract.

Every Q3 SUV, whatever the trim, comes with adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, heated front seats, wireless phone charging, a digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, traffic sign recognition, ambient lighting, roof rails and an electric parking brake.

On safety, Euro NCAP's five-star result breaks down as 87% for adult occupants, 86% for children, 80% for vulnerable road users and 78% for safety assist. Autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are fitted from Technik upwards.

Which Q3 SUV powertrain is right for me?

All four options are automatic, so the real question is how you'll use the car: motorway miles, town miles, or a company car where charging at home is realistic.

Petrol

The broadest choice: 148 to 261 bhp from 1.5- and 2.0-litre engines, a 7-speed automatic, and front- or all-wheel drive. WLTP economy runs from 31.4 to 46.3 mpg and CO2 from 138 to 201 g/km, with 0-62 mph in 5.7 seconds on the quickest version.

Diesel

The long-distance option. The 2-litre diesel gives 148 to 190 bhp, 360 to 400 Nm of torque and WLTP economy of 42.8 to 53.3 mpg, with a 7-speed automatic and front- or all-wheel drive. It also tows the most, at up to 2,200 kg braked.

Hybrid (self-charging)

A 268 bhp front-wheel-drive setup with a 26 kWh battery (19.7 kWh usable), a 6-speed automatic and 400 Nm of torque. It reaches 62 mph in 6.8 seconds. Boot space drops to 375 litres to make room for the battery pack.

Plug-in hybrid

Pairs a 1.5-litre turbo with the same 26 kWh battery for 268 bhp, front-wheel drive and a 6-speed automatic. Charging at 11 kW takes 2.5 hours from empty to full on the best version, or 10-80% in 26 minutes at 40 kW. It tows up to 2,000 kg braked.

Which Q3 SUV trim should I choose?

Six trims, and the jumps are mostly about wheels, cabin finish and driver assistance rather than core equipment, since so much is standard already.

Technik

The starting point, on 17-inch 5 Twin Spoke alloys with cloth upholstery, LED headlights, dual-zone climate control, built-in navigation and the curved display with 12.8-inch MMI and wireless smartphone mirroring. A panoramic roof, heated steering wheel and retractable towbar are available as options.

Sport

Adds 18-inch Multi Spoke alloys and Audi virtual cockpit plus over Technik, along with three-zone climate control and front sports seats. Still cloth upholstery. The same option list applies, including the electrically adjustable driver's seat with memory.

S Line

Over Sport, this brings 19-inch 5 Arm platinum grey alloys, part leather upholstery with dinamica microfibre interior elements, privacy glass and the ambient lighting package pro. It's the sportier look without changing what's underneath.

Black Edition

Steps up to 20-inch 5 W Spoke alloys and makes three popular options standard over S Line: a heated steering wheel, an electrically adjustable driver's seat and electric seat memory. Upholstery is cloth. A panoramic roof and retractable towbar remain optional.

Edition 1

A diesel-only version, starting at 190 bhp with all-wheel drive on 20-inch 5 Spoke Tripod alloys. Against Technik it adds privacy glass and the ambient lighting package pro, plus matrix LED headlights, a heated steering wheel, three-zone climate control, sports suspension and front sports seats.

Vorsprung

The fully loaded one: an opening panoramic sunroof with wind deflector, park assist pro with remote functionality, adaptive cruise assist plus, a 10.9-inch front passenger touch display, head-up display, matrix LED headlights and lane-keep assist, on 20-inch 5 Multi Spoke S alloys.

Packs are also offered on top of a trim. The Sound+Vision Pack adds a SONOS premium sound system and head-up display, while the Sound+Vision Pro Pack adds surround view cameras, park assist pro with remote functionality and adaptive cruise assist plus as well.
