Nissan Qashqai Lease Deals

The Nissan Qashqai is a five-seat family SUV sold in one body style, with a 1.3-litre turbo petrol or a 202 bhp self-charging hybrid. This page explains the powertrains, the five trims and what each one adds, so you can pick the right version before you look at the deals below.

The Nissan Qashqai is a five-seat family SUV, 4.43 m long, sold in one body style with either a 1.3-litre turbo petrol or a self-charging hybrid. It's the car most people picture when they picture a mid-size family crossover.

It sits in the middle of Nissan's SUV line-up: bigger and more grown-up than the small crossovers below it, smaller than the seven-seat models above. Front-wheel drive across the board, five doors, a boot of 455 to 504 litres depending on version.

The choice is simple enough. One body, two powertrains, and five trims: Acenta Premium, N-Connecta, N-Design, Tekna and Tekna+.

About the Nissan Qashqai

The Qashqai is the car credited with starting the family-crossover trend in Britain. This is the third-generation car, on sale in its current form since 2024.

Reviewers consistently praise it for comfort, refinement and ease of use, and just as consistently note that it isn't the most exciting family SUV to drive. Road testers also point out that rivals offer bigger boots, though 455 to 504 litres with the seats up is enough for most families.

Every Qashqai carries a three-year, 60,000-mile manufacturer warranty, and the anti-corrosion guarantee runs to 12 years. Euro NCAP awarded the current car four stars, with 78% for adult occupant protection and 85% for child occupants.

Why lease a Nissan Qashqai?

Because the standard kit list is generous and consistent, so you don't need to climb the range to get the safety and comfort features you'd actually use. That matters on a lease, where you're living with one specification for two to four years.

Adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, traffic sign recognition and rear parking sensors are fitted to every version. So are LED headlights, dual-zone climate control, a digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rain-sensing wipers and an electric parking brake.

Practicality is the other half of it: five seats, 1,379 to 1,447 litres with the rear bench folded, a 75 kg roof load and an 11.1 m turning circle that makes town work easy. There's a tyre repair kit rather than a spare wheel.

Which Qashqai powertrain is right for me?

There are two: a 1.3-litre turbo petrol and a self-charging hybrid. Neither plugs in, so charging never enters the picture, and both drive the front wheels.

Petrol: 1.3-litre turbo, 156 bhp

The conventional choice, and the only one offered with a manual gearbox as well as an automatic. It returns 44.1 to 45.6 mpg on the WLTP test, does 0-62 mph in 9.2 to 9.5 seconds, and tows up to 1,830 kg braked. If you pull a caravan or a trailer, this is your engine.

Hybrid (self-charging): 1.5-litre turbo, 202 bhp

The petrol engine generates electricity and an electric motor drives the wheels, so it feels like an EV without ever being plugged in. It's automatic only, quicker at 7.9 seconds to 62 mph, and rated at 62.8 to 64.2 mpg with CO2 from 98 g/km. Braked towing drops to 770 kg.

Which Qashqai trim should I choose?

Five trims, and the jump most people notice is from Acenta Premium to N-Connecta, where the navigation and heated kit arrive.

Acenta Premium

The entry version, on 17-inch alloys with cloth upholstery, LED headlights, a leather shift knob, a rear-view camera and wireless Apple CarPlay with wired Android Auto. Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel are available as options. The Acenta Premium is currently available from £214.38 a month.

N-Connecta

Adds 18-inch Diamond Cut alloys, built-in navigation with Google Maps, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a smooth leather heated steering wheel, heated front seats, a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, wireless phone charging and privacy glass. The N-Connecta is currently available from £228.70 a month. Against the Acenta Premium, that is currently £14.32/mo more expensive.

N-Design

Mostly about appearance: 19-inch Diamond Cut alloys and PVC Artysin synthetic suede upholstery over the N-Connecta. It also gains a fixed panoramic glass roof, roof rails and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror. The N-Design is currently available from £427.85 a month. Against the N-Connecta, that is currently £199.15/mo more expensive.

Tekna

Adds convenience over the N-Design: a hands-free power tailgate and an electrically adjustable driver's seat, with the same 19-inch Diamond Cut alloys and part-leather upholstery. A head-up display is available as an option. Offers on this trim come and go, so ask our team what's live.

Tekna+

The fully loaded version, with 20-inch Diamond Cut alloys, quilted premium leather, LED headlights with adaptive driving beam, a Bose Acoustimass bass box, two-way electric driver lumbar adjustment, massaging front seats, seat memory and paddle shifters. Availability varies, so give us a call.

Packs sit on top of a trim rather than replacing one: there's a Glass Roof Pack and a Bose Pack, which adds the Bose Acoustimass bass box. If you're weighing up wheel size against ride comfort, our guide to choosing the right spec, mileage and term is worth five minutes before you order.

Similar cars to consider

If you're shortlisting, the CUPRA Formentor, KGM Actyon, Hyundai Santa FE and Škoda Kodiaq are all worth a look, and the rest of the Nissan range sits alongside them.

Nissan Qashqai FAQs

Yes. It's a five-seat, five-door SUV with a 2.67 m wheelbase, and reviewers regularly single out its rear legroom and wide-opening back doors for child seats. Blind-spot monitoring, autonomous emergency braking and rear cross-traffic alert are standard on every version.

No. The hybrid is self-charging: a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine feeds a 1.97 kWh battery, which powers the electric motor driving the front wheels. You fill it with petrol as normal, from a 55-litre tank, and it never plugs in.

Between 455 and 504 litres with the rear seats up, depending on the version, and 1,379 to 1,447 litres with them folded. Check the figure on the individual deal, because it varies by trim and powertrain rather than being the same across the range.

The petrol tows up to 1,830 kg braked, so it handles most touring caravans. The hybrid is limited to 770 kg braked, which rules out all but the smallest trailers. If you tow, choose the 1.3-litre petrol and confirm the exact figure for your version.

Nissan covers the car for three years or 60,000 miles, with a three-year paintwork guarantee and a 12-year anti-corrosion guarantee. Servicing is every 12 months or 12,500 to 18,000 miles depending on version. Maintenance can usually be added to a lease if you'd rather fix the cost.

It depends entirely on what's available at the time, and the order can change when pricing is refreshed, so the live list is the only reliable answer. The entry Acenta Premium is currently from £214.38 a month. See the current Qashqai deals below.
