The KGM Actyon is a five-seat family SUV sold in a single K50 trim with a self-charging 1.5-litre hybrid, front-wheel drive and a 668-litre boot. This page explains its character, its standard equipment and what to check before you order one on a lease.
The KGM Actyon is a five-seat family SUV with coupe-influenced styling, a 668-litre boot and one of the simplest line-ups you'll find anywhere: one body, one powertrain, one trim. If you want a big, heavily equipped SUV without trawling an options list, that simplicity is the point.
It sits towards the top of KGM's car range as the brand's more upmarket offering, and it's the first model developed entirely under the company's current ownership after its Ssangyong years. Reviewers generally treat it as a big step forward for the badge.
The choice here is easy to summarise: SUV body, a self-charging 1.5-litre hybrid with an automatic gearbox and front-wheel drive, in K50 trim. So the real decision isn't which Actyon - it's whether the Actyon suits you at all.

The Actyon is a 4.74m-long family SUV built around space, equipment and a 5-year / 100,000-mile manufacturer warranty. It carries five people, swallows 668 litres of luggage with the rear seats up and 1,568 litres folded, and tows up to 1,300 kg braked.
Road testers consistently praise the same things: the size of the cabin and boot, the sheer length of the standard kit list, and how quiet it is at a motorway cruise. They're more divided on the ride, which some find firm over broken surfaces, and the touchscreen, which isn't the quickest of its type.
What the Actyon isn't, despite the brand's 4x4 heritage, is an off-roader. It's front-wheel drive only, aimed squarely at road-going family life.
Because every Actyon arrives loaded. There's no equipment ladder to climb and no boxes to tick, so the car you see on a lease deal is the fully specified one - which removes a lot of the guesswork when you're ordering a car you've never sat in.
Standard across the range: adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera with front and rear parking sensors, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, an electrically adjustable driver's seat, dual-zone climate control, built-in navigation, a digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Safety and driver assistance kit is equally complete, with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, automatic high beam and LED headlights. Family practicality is covered by a hands-free tailgate, roof rails and privacy glass.
There's only one, and it's a self-charging hybrid - so the decision is really whether a petrol-electric automatic fits how you drive. It suits mixed town and motorway mileage, and anyone who wants electrified running costs without a charging cable.
A 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine works with a 1.84 kWh battery for 175 bhp and 300 Nm, driving the front wheels through a six-speed automatic. It never needs plugging in - the battery charges as you drive and brake. Official economy is 46.4 mpg, with CO2 of 138 g/km and a 109 mph top speed.

There's one trim, K50, so the answer is simple: whichever Actyon you lease, you get the full specification.
K50 pairs the 175 bhp hybrid and front-wheel drive with 20-inch 15 Spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels, leather upholstery, a heated leather steering wheel, TomTom navigation software with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a powered tailgate and a rear-view camera alongside the 360-degree system.
The K50 is currently available from £363.42 a month.
Five paint colours are offered across the range - Dandy blue, Forest green, Grand white, Iron silver and Space Black - and since the specification is fixed, colour and contract terms are usually the only real decisions left. Our guide to choosing mileage and term is worth five minutes before you order.
If you're weighing up large family SUVs, the Hyundai Santa FE and the Renault Symbioz both cover similar ground with hybrid power. You can also browse the rest of the KGM range if the badge appeals but the size doesn't.
