In May 2022, Aberdeen Council introduced a low-emission zone. But this is for an introductory period of two years, and it will be enforced from June 2024. To see if your vehicle can go into the LEZ check the Scottish Government website out here. The good news for drivers is that the Aberdeen low emission zone is a token gesture and covers only a little of the city centre. You can see an interactive map of the clean air zone here.
Although famous for its oil, Aberdeen has recently started adding EV chargers to its infrastructure. Through the Scottish Government Charge Place Scotland scheme, you can access relatively cheap (if not free) charging using these chargers; you can find them on the website.

Aberdeen being a national business hub, has excellent transport links. You can access the city by air, landing at Aberdeen Airport, only six miles from the city centre. From there, you have Aberdeen Train Station, which has excellent UK routes, including the Caledonian Sleeper, to get to London.
