  • Being a lease, you won’t own the car; once the lease term is up, you’ll have to return the car.

Manchester's Clean Air Driving Zones

The Greater Manchester charging CAZ was due to be in place by March 2022; it is currently paused because of protest groups making the plan “unworkable” However, the UK Government obligates the council to have a Clean Air Plan. The new, improved plan is still under review (May 23). No decision is expected until 2024. The signs and cameras remain in place but are not enforceable.

Manchester has an extensive and well-developed transport network that includes several types of transportation, such as buses, trams, trains, and taxis.

The city's tram network (Metrolink) operates across Greater Manchester and connects Manchester city centre with surrounding areas such as Salford, Altrincham, Bury, Rochdale, and Oldham. The trams arrive every 12 minutes, with some stations being more frequent if they are serviced by two lines.

Manchester has two main train stations - Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria. Both stations offer regular services to destinations across the UK, including London, Birmingham, Liverpool, and Leeds.
