Ford Tourneo Courier Lease Deals

The Ford Tourneo Courier is a five-seat MPV built on car underpinnings, sold with a 1-litre turbo petrol or a 54 kWh electric powertrain. This page explains who it suits and how to choose between Titanium and Active trim before you view the live lease deals.

The Ford Tourneo Courier is a five-seat MPV with a boxy body and a 1,002-litre boot with the rear seats up. It's the smallest of Ford's Tourneo people carriers, and it's aimed at buyers who want space without buying an SUV.

It suits families, dog owners, wheelchair and pushchair users, and anyone who regularly carries bulky, awkward things. Reviewers consistently point out that it shares its underpinnings with Ford's small car range, so it drives far more like a hatchback than its van-derived looks suggest.

The choice is simple: one body, two powertrains - a 1-litre turbo petrol or a 54 kWh electric - and two trims, Titanium and Active. That's it, which makes this an unusually easy range to pick your way through.

About the Ford Tourneo Courier

The current Tourneo Courier is the second-generation car, on sale in this form since 2025. It's the passenger version of Ford's smallest van.

Road testers reliably praise two things: the way it steers and rides, which is genuinely car-like, and the sheer usefulness of the shape. The common criticisms are cabin plastics that feel functional rather than plush, and climate controls buried in the touchscreen.

At 4.34 m long it parks like a supermini, yet it carries five people and 1,002 litres of luggage with everyone aboard. Every version comes with a 3-year / 100,000-mile manufacturer warranty.

Why lease a Ford Tourneo Courier?

Because the equipment list is generous from the entry trim up, and because leasing keeps you in a car whose shape does a specific job very well without you having to worry what it's worth in three years' time.

Every Tourneo Courier has heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, climate control, keyless entry and start, wireless phone charging, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Privacy glass, roof rails, rain-sensing wipers and an auto-dimming mirror are standard too.

On safety, the whole range gets autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist, traffic sign recognition, automatic high beam, a rear-view camera and front and rear parking sensors. Euro NCAP awarded the car four stars, with 85% for adult occupant protection and 78% for child occupants.

The practical details matter more day to day: a 10.7 m turning circle that makes tight car parks manageable.

Which Tourneo Courier powertrain is right for me?

There are two: a 1-litre turbo petrol and a 54 kWh electric. Both drive the front wheels, and the deciding factor is usually whether you can charge at home and how often you cover long distances.

1-litre turbo petrol

The three-cylinder petrol makes 123 bhp and 200 Nm, with a manual or an automatic gearbox. WLTP economy is 40.9 to 42.2 mpg. It's the one to have if you tow - braked towing is 1,000 kg - or if charging at home isn't an option.

54 kWh electric

The electric version has 134 bhp, an automatic transmission and a WLTP range of up to 197 miles. Charging at up to 100 kW takes the battery from 10-80% in 23 minutes on the best version, or 10-100% in 5.3 hours at 11 kW at home.

It's quieter and punchier from a standstill, thanks to 290 Nm, and braked towing is 750 kg. If most of your driving is local and you can plug in overnight, it's the easier car to live with. Our electric car guide covers charging basics if this would be your first EV.

Which Tourneo Courier trim should I choose?

Two trims: Titanium and Active. Titanium already covers the essentials, so the question is really whether you want the extra driver-assistance kit and the chunkier wheels.

Titanium

Titanium brings Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital rear view camera, a wireless charging pad, keyless start, front light tinted glass with rear privacy glass, 16-inch "10 Spoke" alloy wheels and cloth upholstery. A fixed towbar is available as an option.

The Titanium is currently available from £295.64 a month.

Active

Active adds 17-inch "5 Spoke" absolute black machined-finish alloy wheels with locking wheel nuts, plus adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, built-in navigation, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and power-folding mirrors. Upholstery stays cloth, and the fixed towbar remains an option.

The Active is currently available from £306.56 a month. Against the Titanium, that is currently £10.92/mo more expensive.

Separately, a Driver Assist Pack can be added as an option. Worth checking on the individual deal, because factory options have to be specified at order and can't be added later - our guide to choosing your car explains what to pin down before you commit.

Similar cars to consider

If the Tourneo Courier is close but not quite right, look at the Citroën Berlingo, the Vauxhall Combo Life and the Toyota Proace City Verso. For a more conventional family car with electric power, there's the Renault Scenic E-Tech. More from the brand on our Ford leasing page.

Ford Tourneo Courier FAQs

Yes, for families of up to five. It has five seats and five doors. There's no seven-seat option, so larger families will need something bigger.

It holds 1,002 litres with the rear seats up, rising to 1,429 litres with them folded. The square sides and high roof matter as much as the number: the shape swallows bulky items that wouldn't fit a similarly sized SUV.

Up to 197 miles on the WLTP test cycle, from a 54 kWh battery with 46 kWh usable. Efficiency is quoted at 3.4 to 3.5 miles per kWh. Expect less in cold weather and at sustained motorway speeds, as with any electric car.

It can. Braked towing is 1,000 kg on the petrol and 750 kg on the electric version, and roof load is 50 to 75 kg depending on version. A fixed towbar is a factory option on both Titanium and Active, so it has to be ordered with the car.

The manufacturer warranty runs to 3 years or 100,000 miles. Electric versions add an 8-year / 100,000-mile battery warranty guaranteeing 70% of capacity. Servicing is every 24 months or 18,000 miles, and keeping to that schedule is a condition of any lease agreement.

It depends entirely on what's available at the time. Monthly rentals move with contract length, mileage, initial rental and stock, so the cheapest version this week isn't always the cheapest next week.
