What engine does a BMW 4 Series have?
There's a choice of petrol and diesel engines for the BMW 4 Series.
The entry-level model has a 1.5 litre turbocharged unit that is a good performer and there's a 3.0 litre twin-turbocharged offering as well for blistering pace.
The 4 Series also has a 2.0 litre turbocharged diesel unit and an excellent 3.0 litre twin-turbocharged engine too.
The engines are mated to a manual gearbox though the eight-speed automatic transmission delivers the smooth gear shifting for the car to be thoroughly enjoyable.
