The Alfa Romeo Junior is the small one, at 4.17 m long, and the entry point to the brand. It seats five, offers a boot of 400 to 415 litres depending on version, tows up to 1,100 kg braked, and comes as petrol or electric across three trims. Deals start from £317.03 a month.

The Alfa Romeo Tonale sits in the middle at 4.53 m, and it's the model that offers a plug. Petrol or plug-in hybrid, four trims, five seats, a boot of 385 to 500 litres depending on version and braked towing up to 1,500 kg. Deals start from £481.72 a month.

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio is the big SUV of the range at about 4.69 m, with a 525-litre boot, five seats and petrol power across three trims. It's the towing choice, rated at up to 1,600 kg braked. Deals start from £702.26 a month.

Saloon

The Alfa Romeo Giulia is the range's saloon, about 4.64 m long, with five seats, a 480-litre boot and petrol power across four trims. Braked towing runs to 1,600 kg. It suits drivers who want the low-slung shape rather than an SUV. Deals start from £573.36 a month.

Electric and hybrid Alfa Romeo models

Two routes away from pure petrol exist in this range. The Junior is offered as a fully electric SUV, and the Tonale is offered as a plug-in hybrid - a car with a battery you charge from the mains plus a petrol engine for longer trips.
