Lexus is Toyota's luxury brand, and it has spent decades building a reputation for quiet cabins, careful assembly and self-charging hybrid power rather than chasing outright sporting credentials. Reviewers consistently praise the refinement and the interior quality; owner surveys have long placed the marque near the top for dependability.

The current Lexus line-up we price covers seven models across three body styles: five SUVs, one saloon and one MPV. Five models are offered as a self-charging hybrid, two as a plug-in hybrid, and two are fully electric.

Choosing between them is mostly a question of size and powertrain. The LBX is the compact one at 4.19 m long, with a boot of 317 to 402 litres depending on version, a five-star Euro NCAP rating and seven trims to pick from.

About Lexus

Lexus is the premium arm of Toyota, and it stands for refinement, build quality and electrified powertrains rather than big-engine drama. Every model we price carries the same 3-year / 60,000-mile manufacturer warranty, which makes the range easy to compare on cover.

The line-up stretches a long way. It runs from the LBX at 4.19 m up to the ES saloon, which is comfortably over five metres, so there's a Lexus for a tight city street and one for long motorway miles.

Two models, the RZ and the ES, are fully electric, the NX and RX also offer a plug-in hybrid, and the LBX, UX and LM stick with self-charging hybrid technology.

The Lexus range we lease

Seven Lexus models are priced with us today: five SUVs, one saloon and one MPV. Below, each model gets its own paragraph and its own page, so you can see what it seats, what it carries and what it can tow.

SUVs

The Lexus LBX is the small one, and it's the obvious choice if you want the badge and the cabin quality without a large car on the drive. Five seats, 317 to 402 litres of boot depending on version, 4.19 m long, and braked towing up to 750 kg. Deals start from £298.57 a month.

The Lexus NX is the mid-size family SUV, available as a self-charging hybrid or a plug-in hybrid. It seats five, carries 520 litres, measures 4.66 m, holds a five-star Euro NCAP rating and tows up to 1,500 kg braked, across five trims. Deals start from £477.73 a month.

The Lexus RX is the big hybrid SUV, again with a plug-in option. It's 4.89 m long with a 612-litre boot and five seats, and at up to 2,000 kg braked it tows more than any other Lexus we price. Deals start from £594.36 a month.

The Lexus RZ is the electric SUV, built for drivers ready to give up petrol entirely. Five seats, 4.81 m long, braked towing up to 1,500 kg and five trims. Deals start from £684.07 a month.

The Lexus UX sits between the LBX and the NX as a self-charging hybrid crossover, 4.50 m long with five seats and six trims. It's rated five stars by Euro NCAP and tows up to 750 kg braked. Deals start from £406.16 a month.

Saloon

The Lexus ES is the executive saloon in the range, and it's fully electric. At 5.15 m long with five seats, a 517-litre boot and three trims, it suits high-mileage drivers who'd rather have a low, quiet saloon than another SUV. Deals start from £559.79 a month.

MPV

The Lexus LM is a self-charging hybrid MPV built around the people in the back. It's 5.13 m long, seats four, has a 110-litre boot and comes in a single trim - a chauffeur-style car, in other words, not a school-run bus. Deals start from £812.93 a month.

Electric and hybrid Lexus models

Every Lexus we price is electrified in some form. Two models are fully electric, two offer a plug-in hybrid, and five are available as self-charging hybrids that never need plugging in at all.

The RZ is the electric SUV, at 4.81 m with five seats and braked towing up to 1,500 kg. The ES is the electric saloon, 5.15 m long with a 517-litre boot.

If you're not ready to charge every night, the NX and the RX are both offered as plug-in hybrids, giving you electric running for shorter trips and a petrol engine for everything else. The LBX, UX and LM stick with self-charging hybrid power, which recharges as you drive.

Why lease a Lexus?

Leasing gives you a new Lexus on a fixed monthly rental for an agreed term and mileage, with the manufacturer warranty running alongside it. Every model we price is covered for 3 years / 60,000 miles, so most contracts sit inside that cover.

Servicing and tyres remain your responsibility unless you add a maintenance package, and the car goes back at the end of the term. There's no resale to worry about, which matters on cars where used values are hard to predict.

The LM is the outlier here. A four-seat hybrid MPV with a 110-litre boot and one trim, leased as a business car it's aimed squarely at moving passengers in comfort.

Which Lexus should you choose?

Start with size, then powertrain. The range runs from a 4.19 m compact SUV to a saloon and an MPV both over five metres, and the powertrain choice is self-charging hybrid, plug-in hybrid or fully electric.

For tight streets and easy parking, the LBX is the smallest at 4.19 m. For family duty, the NX seats five with a 520-litre boot, while the RX gives you 612 litres and a longer 4.89 m body if you routinely travel loaded.

Towing a caravan or a trailer? The RX is the one, at up to 2,000 kg braked. The NX and RZ manage up to 1,500 kg, and the LBX and UX up to 750 kg.

Going electric means the RZ if you want an SUV, or the ES if you'd rather have a saloon with a 517-litre boot. And if you're after seven seats, no Lexus we price offers them: six models seat five, and the LM seats four in considerable comfort.
