Lexus LM Lease Deals

The Lexus LM is a four-seat, self-charging hybrid luxury MPV designed around the comfort of the people in the back rather than the driver. This guide explains the single 247 bhp all-wheel-drive powertrain, the Takumi trim and what to check before you order one on lease.

The Lexus LM is a full-size luxury MPV designed around the people in the back. It's a four-seat, chauffeur-style cabin wrapped in a 5.13-metre body, powered by a self-charging hybrid, and it sits near the very top of the Lexus range in both size and ambition.

It suits hotels, VIP transfer operators, executives who'd rather work than drive, and private buyers who want limousine comfort with far more room to stretch out than any saloon offers. Reviewers are consistent on the point: this is a car to be driven in.

The choice here is simple. One body style, one powertrain - a 2.5-litre self-charging hybrid with 247 bhp and all-wheel drive - and one trim, Takumi.

About the Lexus LM

The LM is Lexus's luxury people carrier, sold in this form since 2023, and it exists to do something a big saloon can't: give rear passengers genuine lounge space. Four seats and a 3.00-metre wheelbase do that job.

Road testers consistently praise the cabin quality, the hush at town speeds and the sheer sense of space in the back, while noting that the hybrid gets vocal if you press on and that a 5.13-metre MPV takes some placing in a car park.

Practicality is a trade-off worth understanding early. Boot space is 110 litres with the rear seats in place, rising to 752 litres folded, and every LM comes with a 3-year / 60,000-mile manufacturer warranty.

Why lease a Lexus LM?

Leasing suits a car like this because you're paying to use it over a fixed term rather than carrying a very large, very specialist asset on your books. Equipment isn't a worry either: the LM arrives comprehensively kitted from the factory.

Every LM has heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, electric seat memory, keyless entry and start, wireless phone charging and dual-zone climate control. Adaptive suspension and power-folding mirrors are standard too.

The driver-assistance list is equally full: adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, active lane-change assist, traffic sign recognition, automatic high beam and LED headlights. For a car this large, the parking kit matters - a 360-degree camera, front and rear sensors and self-steering parking are all fitted.

One practical point our team raises with customers: at 5.13 m long and 1.89 m wide, the LM needs somewhere sensible to live. Check your gates, garage and any height barriers before you order.

Which LM powertrain is right for me?

There's one engine in the LM range, so this decision is made for you: a self-charging petrol-electric hybrid with all-wheel drive and an automatic gearbox. No plug, no charging routine, no cable in the boot.

Hybrid (self-charging)

A 2.5-litre petrol engine works with a 1.3 kWh battery for 247 bhp and 239 Nm, driving all four wheels through a 1-speed automatic. It never needs plugging in, returns 39.2 mpg on the WLTP test and emits 163 g/km of CO2. 0-62 mph takes 9.1 seconds, top speed is 118 mph.

Which LM trim should I choose?

There's a single trim, Takumi, so your choices come down to paint and how you configure the contract.

Takumi

Takumi is the 247 bhp all-wheel-drive LM, on 19-inch alloy wheels with leather upholstery, LED headlights with adaptive high beam, a panoramic view monitor, automatic parking assist, a rear-view camera, a heated leather steering wheel and heated, ventilated front seats.

The Takumi is currently available from £999.94 a month.

Paint is the main personalisation decision: four colours across the range - Graphite black, Sonic agate, Sonic titanium and Sonic white. If you're unsure which suits a car this size, our guide to choosing a lease car's spec, mileage and term is a sensible read before you commit.

Lexus LM FAQs

It works for a small family, not a big one. The LM has four seats, so two adults up front and two in the back, and the rear compartment is exceptionally comfortable for long journeys. Heated rear seats and dual-zone climate control are standard. If you regularly carry more than two passengers, look elsewhere.

No. It's a self-charging hybrid, so the 1.3 kWh battery is topped up by the engine and by braking. You just put petrol in it. That makes the LM straightforward for chauffeur and hotel use where charging time would be awkward, and it returns 39.2 mpg on the WLTP test.

It's 110 litres with the rear seats up, which is modest for a car of this length, and 752 litres with them folded. In practice, that means cabin bags and soft luggage for four rather than a full holiday load. Worth measuring your usual cases against it.

Three years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. On a three-year lease at a typical mileage that covers most of the contract, but if you're taking a longer term or a high annual mileage it's worth discussing a maintenance package with our team before you order.

Less than you'd expect, though its size is real. It's 5.13 m long and 1.89 m wide with a 5.9 m turning circle, and kerb weight is 2,295 kg. A 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors and self-steering parking are standard, and testers note the high driving position makes it easier to place than the dimensions suggest.

There's one trim, Takumi, so the difference comes down to contract length, annual mileage and initial rental rather than the spec. What's cheapest depends entirely on what's available at the time - see the current LM deals below. The Takumi is currently from £999.94 a month.
