The current Jeep line-up we price covers two models, both SUVs, available in petrol, electric, and – for the Compass – plug-in hybrid forms.
Reviewers consistently describe today's Jeeps as far more civilised on the road than the brand's reputation suggests, while keeping the boxy styling, raised driving position and rugged detailing that draw people to the badge in the first place.
Choosing between them is mostly about size and how you'll use the car: the Avenger for town driving and tight parking, the Compass when you need family space and towing capacity.

Jeep is an American SUV brand whose modern European range is built around compact, high-riding family cars rather than heavyweight off-roaders. Both models we price are SUVs, both offer an electric version, and every one carries a 3-year / 60,000-mile manufacturer warranty.
What reviewers tend to single out is the styling and the driving position - upright, boxy bodies that make a car easy to place on a narrow street. Interiors are generally judged solid and hard-wearing rather than plush.
The size gap matters more than the model count suggests. There's a genuine step between the shortest car in the range and the Compass at 4.55 metres, and that difference decides most of what follows: rear legroom, boot space and how much the car will tow.
Two Jeep models are priced on this page, both of them SUVs. The Avenger is the compact one, sold as a petrol or an electric car; the Compass is the family-sized one, and the only Jeep here offered as a plug-in hybrid as well as a petrol or an EV.
The Jeep Avenger is the small, town-friendly Jeep - about 4.08 m long, with five seats and a boot of 262 to 355 litres depending on version. Petrol and electric versions are available, it holds a 3-star Euro NCAP rating, and it tows up to 1,200 kg braked. Five trims. Deals start from £274.50 a month.
The Jeep Compass is the family SUV of the pair, 4.55 m long with five seats and a 422 to 483-litre boot. It's offered as a petrol, a plug-in hybrid or an electric car, carries a 4-star Euro NCAP rating and tows up to 1,500 kg braked. Four trims. Deals start from £332.46 a month.
Both Jeeps we price are available as electric cars, so you can go fully electric in either the compact Avenger or the larger Compass. The Compass is also offered as a plug-in hybrid - a car with a battery you charge from the mains plus a petrol engine for longer trips.
Across the range, the electric and hybrid models come with a battery warranty of 8 years / 100,000 miles, guaranteeing 70% of capacity. That sits alongside the 3-year / 60,000-mile manufacturer warranty every Jeep here carries.

Leasing a Jeep means fixed monthly payments over an agreed term and mileage, with the car covered by its 3-year / 60,000-mile manufacturer warranty for most typical contract lengths. Road tax is included for the duration, and you hand the car back at the end.
On the electric and plug-in hybrid versions, the 8-year / 100,000-mile battery warranty guaranteeing 70% of capacity outlasts any normal lease comfortably - useful reassurance, even though battery condition at handback isn't your problem as a lessee.

Towing: the Compass again, rated up to 1,500 kg braked. The Avenger manages up to 1,200 kg braked, which is fine for a small trailer but not a large caravan.
Going electric: either. Both are offered as EVs, and only the Compass adds a plug-in hybrid if you're not ready to charge every time.
