Stylish Kia XCeed gets a refresh

The order books have opened for the impressive contract hire Kia XCeed with the carmaker offering more equipment for what is the bestselling Ceed model.

Along with some bold exterior design changes, the interior has also been enhanced and the firm is adding a new GT-Line S trim to its range.

The new offering is a sporty creation and the new range topper – it replaces the ‘4’ trim.

Kia XCeed car leasing range

The Kia XCeed car leasing range still has two engines and a low-emissions PHEV version.

The bestseller will be the 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol unit that is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox and delivers 158 bhp with torque of 253Nm.

The plug-in hybrid XCeed PHEV offers a 1.6-litre petrol engine along with a 44.5 kW electric unit and an 8.9 kWh battery pack.

It offers drivers 139 bhp with torque of 265Nm and the potential to travel up to 30 miles on battery power.

The stylish contract hire Kia XCeed has been refreshed with new specifications and equipment.

Models in the range are well equipped

All models in the range are well equipped with the ‘2’ trim offering LED bi-function headlights, alloy wheels and 8.0-inch infotainment display that is smartphone compatible, plus there’s a 4.2-inch instrument cluster display.

Drivers also get a reversing camera system and a forward collision avoidance assist offering that recognises cyclists and pedestrians.

There’s also intelligent stop and go, cruise control and a speed limiter.

The ‘3’ offers larger alloy wheels and a bigger display for the infotainment system, along with rain-sensing wipers and privacy glass.

There are also rear parking sensors, dual-zone automatic air-conditioning and a seven-year subscription to the firm’s connectivity services.

GT-Line S offers drivers the GT-Line body kit

The GT-Line S offers drivers the GT-Line body kit, black leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, a premium sound offering and there is a smart 12.3-inch instrument cluster.

There’s also smart parking assist system, intelligent speed limit warning and blind spot collision warning.

The XCeed PHEV has a package like the ‘3’ trim with drive mode select, including sport and normal modes, along with smart cruise control and a closed radiator grille.

Drivers also get a choice of up to eight paint schemes, plus a new one called Spirit Green.

XCeed car lease range

There’s no doubt that the XCeed car lease range has been popular in the UK, it accounts for 10% of Kia sales, and the new cabin is impressive with a sculptured centre console that is focused on the driver.

Kia have used soft-touch materials to create an upscale ambience and there’s plenty of space on board for the passengers and luggage.

For anybody who wants to lease a well-made and spacious car, there’s a lot to recommend the contract hire Kia XCeed.
