Škoda has spent three decades turning sensible into a selling point: Volkswagen Group engineering, unusually generous interior space and the small practical touches the brand calls Simply Clever. We price 11 Škoda models today.

The line-up we lease covers seven SUVs, three hatchbacks and one estate, with petrol, diesel, plug-in hybrid and fully electric power depending on the model. Sizes run from the Fabia at 4.14 m to the Superb at 4.91 m.

Choosing is mostly about shape and fuel. Work out how many seats you need, whether you tow, and whether home or work charging is realistic - if it is, the five-seat, 470-litre-boot Elroq is the neatest summary of where the brand is now.

We price 11 Škoda models: seven SUVs, three hatchbacks and one estate. Petrol appears on seven models, diesel on four, plug-in hybrid on two, and four are electric-only. Each model below has its own page with the full trim choice.

Škoda SUVs

The Škoda Elroq is the compact electric SUV for drivers who want EV running costs without a large car. Five seats, a 470-litre boot, 4.49 m long, a 5-star Euro NCAP rating and braked towing up to 1,800 kg, across four trims. Deals start from £284.33 a month.

The Škoda Enyaq is the roomier electric SUV, at about 4.66 m with a 570-585 litre boot depending on version and braked towing up to 2,200 kg. It holds a 5-star Euro NCAP rating, comes in four trims and four body styles. Deals start from £290.70 a month.

The Škoda Epiq is the small electric SUV, 4.17 m long and easy to place on narrow streets, with five seats, a 475-litre boot and braked towing up to 1,200 kg. Three trims. Deals start from £310.91 a month.

Petrol only, the Škoda Kamiq suits drivers who want a raised driving position and simple running. It measures 4.24 m, seats five, takes 400 litres of luggage, tows up to 1,250 kg braked and holds a 5-star Euro NCAP rating. Four trims. Deals start from £220.34 a month.

The Škoda Karoq is the mid-size family SUV, offered in petrol and diesel. It's about 4.38 m long, seats five, carries 500-521 litres depending on version and tows up to 2,100 kg braked, across four trims. Deals start from £263.72 a month.

The Škoda Kodiaq is the big one: five or seven seats, 340-910 litres of boot depending on version, about 4.76 m long, 5-star Euro NCAP, and petrol, diesel or plug-in hybrid over six trims. It tows up to 2,500 kg braked, the most in the range. Deals start from £258.70 a month.

The Škoda Peaq pairs seven seats with electric power. At 4.87 m it's a proper full-size SUV, with a 299-litre boot behind the third row, braked towing up to 2,000 kg and three trims. Deals start from £611.11 a month.

Škoda hatchbacks

The Škoda Fabia is the smallest Škoda we lease and the easiest to park, yet it still swallows 380 litres in the boot. Petrol only, five seats, a 5-star Euro NCAP rating, braked towing up to 1,200 kg and five trims. Deals start from £249.71 a month.

The Škoda Octavia is the long-distance family workhorse, in petrol or diesel, at about 4.70 m with a 600-640 litre boot depending on version. Five seats, 5-star Euro NCAP, towing up to 1,600 kg braked, four trims and three body styles. Deals start from £251.50 a month.

Between the two sits the Škoda Scala, a 4.36 m petrol hatchback with a 467-litre boot, five seats, a 5-star Euro NCAP rating and braked towing up to 1,250 kg. Three trims. Deals start from £212.92 a month.

Škoda estates

The Škoda Superb is the load-carrier, at about 4.90 m with 486-690 litres of boot depending on version and five seats. Petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid, 5-star Euro NCAP, towing up to 2,200 kg braked, four trims, three body styles. Deals start from £344.20 a month.

Electric and hybrid Škoda models

Four Škoda models are electric-only - Elroq, Enyaq, Epiq and Peaq - and two more, the Kodiaq and Superb, offer a plug-in hybrid (a petrol engine plus a battery you charge from the mains). That covers most ways of leaving pure petrol behind.

For a first EV, the Epiq is the smallest of the four at 4.17 m. The Elroq and Enyaq are the mainstream family choices, and the Peaq is the one that carries seven. Charging at home is what makes any of them cheap to run, so check your parking first.

Why lease a Škoda?

Leasing is a fixed-term rental: you pay an initial rental, then set monthly payments, and hand the car back at the end. Vehicle excise duty (road tax) is included for the contract, and there's no resale to worry about.

Škoda's 3-year / 60,000-mile manufacturer warranty covers a typical three-year lease, though a four-year term will run past it, which is worth weighing when you pick a contract length. Servicing stays your responsibility unless you add a maintenance package.

The Superb is a good example of how this works in practice. As a plug-in hybrid company car it can be taxed far more kindly than the petrol or diesel versions, while the 486-690 litre boot does the job either way.

Which Škoda should you choose?

Start with the job the car has to do. The Fabia is the smallest and easiest to park at 4.14 m, with a 380-litre boot that shames plenty of bigger cars, and the Scala is the step up if you want more hatchback for the same simple petrol running.

For family duty, the Karoq and Octavia both give you five seats and a boot measured in the hundreds of litres, while the Kodiaq stretches to five or seven seats and 340-910 litres depending on version.

Towing? The Kodiaq pulls up to 2,500 kg braked, the most of any Škoda we price, with the Enyaq and Superb both rated at 2,200 kg.
