The pricing and specification for the new Hyundai Santa Fe has been unveiled and it is an impressive offering for the new generation vehicle.
With prices starting from £33,425, the new model goes on sale from 1 September in the UK.
To attract buyers, the Santa Fe has lots of new equipment as well as new powertrain and safety features.
There’s also a fresh new exterior styling, which follows in the Hyundai family image.

Engines for the new Hyundai Santa Fe include the 2.2 litre CRDi engine which has lower emissions than the unit it replaces, while producing 200 PS and having torque of 440Nm.
The new model is also available with front wheel drive or all-wheel drive and is mated to either a six speed manual gearbox or a new eight speed automatic transmission.
The automatic gearbox features ‘drive mode logic’ to help improve engine control and response when cornering.
For those interested in all-wheel drive, there’s a system that enables the driver to select manually ‘4WD Lock’ which will hold the delivery of torque at 50-50 until the speed of the vehicle gets above 19 mph when the torque distribution is then automatically controlled.

Equipment for the new Hyundai Santa Fe includes seven seats, a rear view camera, rear and front parking sensors and roof rails.
There’s also dual zone climate control, privacy glass, heated front seats, automatic windscreen wipers and smartphone connectivity. The car also has cruise control, autonomous emergency braking and lane keep assist.
The offering for the Santa Fe Premium includes a system called ‘rear occupancy alert’, which will alert the driver if any occupant, whether that is pets or children, have been inadvertently left behind.
The range topper is the Premium which comes with a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats and a head-up display.
