The Trophy model will deliver 270 miles with the larger battery, and it is also capable of rapid charging so the battery will take just 35 minutes to recharge 80% of its capacity.
The car also comes with a seven-year warranty and lots of standard equipment.
It’s also the first to use MG’s brand-new modular scalable platform and by using a thin battery that doesn’t intrude into the car’s boot space.
Features include a 10.25-inch floating infotainment display
Drivers get to enjoy features including a 10.25-inch floating infotainment display that is smartphone compatible, and a 7.0-instrument display that replaces analogue dials.
Standard equipment includes the firm’s Pilot advanced driving assistance system, rear parking sensors, alloy wheels and automatic climate control.
The MG 4 EV also comes with automatic LED rear and headlights, adaptive cruise control and MG’s iSmart app.
Trophy trim lease is worth looking at
For those who want the best specification, then the Trophy trim lease is worth looking at since it includes an upgraded Pilot system and the addition of rear cross traffic alert, lane change assist and blind spot detection.
The model also features rear privacy glass, a two-tone roof, a leather interior, an aero rear spoiler, Bluetooth connectivity and satnav.
The range-topper also includes wireless phone charging, a 360° camera system and the iSmart app has various live services as standard.
The MG 4 EV lease range is available in six colours from launch and more details will be available closer to its official launch date.
