Skoda Karoq gets a revamp and more equipment

A revamp of the Skoda Karoq car leasing range has been revealed with several key trim and specification updates.

Positioned between the firm’s Kodiaq and Kamiq, the popular SUV is set to offer better value for customers.

There’s a new line-up with three trims: SportLine, SE L and SE Drive.

Skoda is also offering diesel and petrol engines and prices start at £26,255 OTR.

Among the raft of updates for the contract hire Skoda Karoq is a new 8.0-inch digital display that is now fitted to all trims.

It offers three layouts with ambient lighting in the side and display sections.

The option packages have also been boosted with a new travel assist option including blind spot detection, front assist with emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.

It also includes lane assist, traffic sign recognition and traffic jam assist.

The safety package has also been updated and adds crew protect assist and rear and front curtain airbags for the first time.

Karoq SE Drive has 17-inch alloy wheels

The entry-level model, the Karoq SE Drive has 17-inch alloy wheels, satnav, LED headlights and LED rear lights. Rear parking sensors and smartphone connectivity are also standard.

The SE L has bigger alloy wheels, a winter pack that includes heated front seats and steering wheel as well as the headlight washers and windscreen washer nozzles.

Drivers also get chrome roof rails and window surrounds and VarioFlex seating.

The model also features a parking pack with front parking sensors and a start/stop system.

The SportLine features 19-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof and full LED matrix headlights.

Drivers get an electrically operated boot and metallic paint fitted as standard. The parking winter pack includes a rearview camera and parking sensors.

Engines for the Karoq lease range

Engines for the Karoq lease range include a 1.0-litre TSI petrol unit delivering 110 PS or there’s a 1.5-litre version delivering 150 PS. For those wanting more power, the 2.0-litre petrol engine delivers 190 PS.

The diesel engine choices include a 2.0 TDI offering either 150 PS or 116 PS.

Some petrol and diesel engines have the option of seven-speed automatic transmission, and some models can also be specified with all-wheel drive.
