DS NO4 Lease Deals

The DS NO4 is a five-seat premium hatchback offered with petrol, plug-in hybrid and fully electric power, in five trims from Pallas to Etoile Nappa. Our guide explains what the car is like, who it suits and how to choose the right version before you look at the live lease deals below.

The DS NO4 is a five-seat premium hatchback built around comfort and design rather than sporting sharpness. It's DS's family-sized car, sitting below the brand's larger models, and it aims at the same buyers as the established German compact premium hatchbacks.

The choice is refreshingly simple. One body style, three powertrains - a 1.2-litre turbo petrol, a 1.6-litre plug-in hybrid and a 61 kWh electric version - and five trims: Pallas, Pallas+, DS Performance Line, Etoile and Etoile Nappa.

All of them are automatic and front-wheel drive, so the real decision is how you fuel it and how much equipment you want. This page walks through both.

About the DS NO4

The NO4 is DS's take on the premium family hatchback: 4.40 m long, five seats, slightly raised over a conventional hatch, and styled to be noticed. The current NO4 has been on sale in this form since 2025.

Reviewers consistently praise the ride and the cabin. Road testers describe it as a quiet, soft-riding, relaxing car with genuinely interesting interior detailing, and they're equally consistent that it isn't the one to pick if you want sharp handling.

The other recurring criticism is rear space - the low roofline means adults over six foot won't love the back seat. Boot space runs from 360 to 430 litres depending on which powertrain you choose, and every NO4 comes with a 3-year / 60,000-mile manufacturer warranty.

Why lease a DS NO4?

Because the standard specification is unusually generous for the class, and leasing lets you take a well-equipped version without worrying what it'll be worth in three years. Every NO4, in every trim, arrives with kit that rivals often charge for.

That list includes adaptive cruise control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a rear-view camera, front and rear parking sensors, traffic sign recognition, automatic high beam, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, rain-sensing wipers and an electric parking brake.

Practically, it's a sensible size for UK streets - 1.83 m wide, with a 10.8 m turning circle - and the petrol version tows up to 1,310 kg braked. A tyre repair kit is supplied rather than a spare wheel.

One thing we'd flag before you order: if you regularly carry adults in the back, sit in the rear seats first. It's the NO4's weakest point and it's easier to check now than at handover.

Which NO4 powertrain is right for me?

There are three: petrol, plug-in hybrid and electric. All are automatic and front-wheel drive, so the question is simply whether you want to plug in, and how much of your driving could be done on electricity.

Petrol

The 1.2-litre turbo petrol makes 143-145 bhp through a six-speed automatic, returns 54.3 mpg on the official WLTP test and never needs plugging in. It has the biggest boot at 430 litres, and suits drivers without home charging.

Plug-in hybrid

The plug-in hybrid pairs a 1.6-litre turbo with a 14.6 kWh battery for 222-237 bhp and 0-62 mph in 7.4 seconds. It charges at up to 7 kW - around 4.3 hours from empty on the best version - and rewards short daily runs you can cover on electricity.

Electric

The electric NO4 uses a 61 kWh battery, produces 210-211 bhp and covers up to 279 miles on the WLTP test. Rapid charging runs at up to 100 kW, taking 20-80% in 31 minutes on the best version. Quiet, smooth, and the choice if you can charge at home or work.

Which NO4 trim should I choose?

Five trims, and every one is well equipped, so pick on the two or three features you'll actually use rather than working through the list.

Pallas

Pallas is the starting point and it's far from basic: LED headlights, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, adaptive cruise control with Stop and Go, and emergency braking using camera and radar. You also get keyless entry and start, wireless phone charging, built-in navigation and 19-inch "Sapporo" alloy wheels with cloth upholstery. A sunroof, heated front seats and a fixed towbar are options.

Pallas+

Pallas+ adds a reversing camera, along with a digital instrument cluster and lane-keep assist. Wheels and cloth trim carry over from Pallas. Options here include an electrically adjustable driver's seat, a powered tailgate and an electric sunroof. Deals on this trim come and go, so ask our team if you don't see one below.

DS Performance Line

DS Performance Line brings a sportier look with 19-inch "Minneapolis" alloys, plus the DS Extended head-up display and an 8-way mechanically adjustable driver's seat with lumbar adjustment. Alcantara upholstery, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are included; massaging front seats are optional. It's currently available from £474.42 a month.

Etoile

Etoile is the comfort-led step: matrix LED headlights that shape the beam around other traffic, and heated front seats. It rides on 19-inch "Lima" alloys with Alcantara trim, and adds a 360-degree camera, heated steering wheel and active lane-change assist to the options list. The Etoile is currently available from £472.79 a month. Against the DS Performance Line, that is currently £1.63/mo cheaper. Best value

Etoile Nappa

Etoile Nappa swaps in Nappa leather upholstery and adds a heated steering wheel plus electric seat memory - the version to choose if cabin materials matter most to you. An opening panoramic roof and hands-free tailgate are available as options. It's currently available from £496.14 a month. Against the Etoile, that is currently £23.35/mo more expensive.

DS NO4 FAQs

It works well for families with younger children. There are five seats, a boot of 360 to 430 litres depending on version, and safety kit including emergency braking with camera and radar on every trim. Rear headroom is tight for tall adults, though, so try the back seats before you commit.

It doesn't have to be charged to drive, but it only makes sense if you do. The 14.6 kWh battery charges at up to 7 kW, taking around 4.3 hours from empty on the best version. Without regular charging you're carrying the battery's weight for nothing.

Up to 279 miles on the official WLTP test, from the 61 kWh battery, with efficiency quoted at 4.1 miles per kWh. Cold weather and motorway speeds will reduce that in practice. Our electric car guide explains how real-world range typically compares.

It depends which powertrain you pick. The petrol offers 430 litres with the rear seats up, the electric 390 litres and the plug-in hybrid 360 litres, because the battery sits beneath the boot floor. Fold the rear seats and the range across the line-up is 1,220 to 1,260 litres.

Yes, within limits. Braked towing capacity runs from 1,260 kg on the electric version up to 1,310 kg on the petrol, with the plug-in hybrid rated at 1,300 kg. A fixed towbar is a factory option across the trims, so specify it at order stage rather than fitting one later.

Three years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first, plus a three-year paintwork guarantee and a 12-year anti-corrosion guarantee. Electric and plug-in hybrid versions also carry an eight-year, 100,000-mile battery warranty guaranteeing 70% of capacity - which comfortably outlasts a typical lease term.

It changes. Rentals move with the offers available at the time, and the cheapest trim or powertrain one month isn't always the cheapest the next, so compare the live NO4 deals below rather than assuming the entry trim wins. Our guide to choosing your car covers how term and mileage affect the figure.
