Audi A6 Estate Lease Deals

The Audi A6 Estate is Audi's executive load-carrier, offered with petrol, diesel, plug-in hybrid and electric power, five seats and a boot of 404 to 503 litres depending on version. This page explains which powertrain and trim suit different drivers, with live Estate lease deals shown below.

The Audi A6 Estate is the long-roofed version of Audi's executive saloon, built for people who want space and motorway comfort without moving into an SUV. Five seats, a boot of 404 to 503 litres depending on version, and a choice of four powertrains.

It sits above the A5 in Audi's range and below the A8, competing with the established German executive estates. The current A6 Estate has been on sale in this form since 2025.

The choice comes down to three decisions: petrol, diesel, plug-in hybrid or electric; then a trim from Sport up to Vorsprung; then, if you want the fast one, the 496 bhp S6.

About the Audi A6 Estate

This is a refinement-first estate rather than a sporting one. Reviewers consistently praise how quiet and settled it is at speed, how well the cabin is screwed together, and the sheer breadth of its standard technology - and they consistently note that some rivals carry more luggage.

Audi has built the A6 Avant for decades, and the current car keeps the formula: a low-slung, aerodynamic shape with a fastback tailgate rather than a boxy one. That styling costs a little outright capacity, which is why the boot runs from 404 litres in the plug-in hybrid to 503 litres in the petrol.

Every version carries a 5-star Euro NCAP rating and a 3-year / 60,000-mile manufacturer warranty, with 12 years of anti-corrosion cover behind it. Electric versions add an 8-year / 100,000-mile battery warranty.

A6 Estate or A6 Hatchback or A6 Saloon?

The Estate is the practical one. It's about 4.93 m long, seats five, and tows up to 2,100 kg braked on the electric version - the same as the Hatchback and more than the Saloon.

The A6 Saloon is longer at 5.00 m and has 354-492 litres behind the rear seats.

If you want to see all three side by side, the full Audi A6 range is on one page.

Why lease an Audi A6 Estate?

Because the standard specification is genuinely deep, so you don't have to chase an expensive trim to get a well-equipped car - and because leasing keeps you in a new one while the technology still feels current.

Every A6 Estate, whatever the engine or trim, has adaptive cruise control, heated front seats, an electrically adjustable driver's seat, built-in navigation on a 14.5-inch OLED touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a rear-view camera, front and rear parking sensors, self-steering parking, traffic sign recognition, automatic high beam and autonomous emergency braking.

Euro NCAP scored the car 87-92% for adult occupant protection and 88-91% for child occupant protection. Practical touches carry across the range too: four-zone climate control on petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid trims, and a tyre repair kit in place of a spare.

Which A6 Estate powertrain is right for me?

Four choices, all automatic: petrol, diesel, plug-in hybrid and electric.

Petrol

A 2-litre turbo with 201 bhp and 340 Nm, front-wheel drive, 7-speed automatic. It's the simplest option: no plug, no diesel particulate filter to think about. WLTP economy is 36.7-39.2 mpg, CO2 164-176 g/km, and it has the biggest boot at 503 litres.

Diesel

Also 201 bhp, but 400 Nm of torque, all-wheel drive and a 7.0-second 0-62 mph time. WLTP economy of 49.6-53.3 mpg makes it the long-distance pick if you're not ready to plug in, with a 466-litre boot and 2,000 kg braked towing.

Plug-in hybrid

A 2-litre turbo with a 25.9 kWh battery (20.7 kWh usable) and 295 bhp combined, all-wheel drive, 0-62 mph in 6.0 seconds. It needs regular charging to make sense - 2.5 hours from empty at 11 kW on the best version. The battery costs boot space: 404 litres.

Electric

An 83-100 kWh battery, 282-496 bhp, rear- or all-wheel drive, and a WLTP range of up to 415 miles on the best version. Charging peaks at 225-270 kW, with 10-80% in 21 minutes at 270 kW. Our electric car guide covers the charging basics.

Which A6 Estate trim should I choose?

Sport is already comprehensively equipped, so the trims above it are mostly about wheels, glass and sound.

Sport

The entry trim, 201 bhp and front-wheel drive, on 18-inch "5 Twin Spoke" alloys with artificial leather upholstery. It brings the 14.5-inch OLED navigation screen, wireless smartphone mirroring, heated front seats, matrix LED headlights, a 360-degree camera, keyless entry and the drive and park assistance package. A panoramic roof and retractable towbar are options.

S line

S line adds privacy glass over Sport, plus sports suspension, front sports seats and 19-inch "5 Arm" alloys. Same 201 bhp front-wheel-drive mechanicals and artificial leather trim. Panoramic roof and retractable towbar remain available as options.

Black Edition

A looks-led step: 21-inch "Multi Spoke" Audi Sport alloys in black metallic and a three-spoke flat-bottomed multifunction steering wheel, with leather and artificial leather upholstery. Mechanically it's the same 201 bhp front-wheel-drive car, and the panoramic roof and retractable towbar stay optional.

Vorsprung

The loaded one. Over Black Edition it adds a fixed panoramic glass roof with switchable transparency, heated steering wheel and heated rear seats, head-up display, lane-keep assist, Bang & Olufsen 3D sound with headrest speakers, park assist pro with remote functionality, and 21-inch alloys in a gloss turned finish.

S Line

This is the entry electric trim, from 282 bhp and rear-wheel drive, on 20-inch "10 Spoke" alloys with leather upholstery. Over Sport it brings LED headlights plus, a reversing camera, privacy glass, an ambient lighting pack, heat pump, electric seat memory, rear cross-traffic alert, three-zone climate and a fixed towbar.

Then there are the performance versions, both electric.

S6 Black Edition

496 bhp and all-wheel drive, with 0-62 mph in 4.1 seconds at the quickest end of the electric range. Over S Line it adds ventilated and massaging front seats, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, Bang & Olufsen 3D sound, surround-view cameras, adaptive cruise assist plus, air suspension and 21-inch "5 Arm Dynamic" alloys.

S6 Vorsprung

The same 496 bhp car with the fixed panoramic glass roof with switchable transparency, head-up display, 3D 360-degree surround camera and park assist pro with remote functionality added. A retractable towbar stays optional.

On any trim, the Tech Pack is worth a look: it bundles the Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system, ambient lighting package plus with dynamic interaction light, and a head-up display. Our guide to choosing your spec helps if you're torn.

Audi A6 Estate FAQs

Between 404 and 503 litres with the rear seats up, depending on version, and 1,422 to 1,534 litres folded. The petrol has the largest at 503 litres, the electric 502 litres, the diesel 466 litres, and the plug-in hybrid the smallest at 404 litres.

It's a five-seat car with a 5-star Euro NCAP rating, scoring 88-91% for child occupant protection. Rear-seat space is good rather than class-leading, as reviewers note - the sloping roofline trims headroom for taller passengers, so try the back seats before ordering.

Yes, to get the best from it. The 25.9 kWh battery (20.7 kWh usable) charges from 0-100% in about 2.5 hours at 11 kW on the best version. It will drive on petrol alone, but without regular charging you're carrying battery weight for nothing.

Yes. Braked towing runs from 1,800 kg on the petrol to 2,100 kg on the electric, with 2,000 kg for both the diesel and the plug-in hybrid. Unbraked is 750 kg throughout. A retractable towbar is a factory option on most trims and must be ordered with the car.

A 3-year / 60,000-mile manufacturer warranty, a 3-year paintwork guarantee and 12-year anti-corrosion cover. Electric versions add an 8-year / 100,000-mile battery warranty. Servicing is scheduled every 24 months, which fits most lease terms neatly.

Up to 415 miles on the WLTP test for the best version, with the range starting at 336 miles. Official efficiency is 3.6-4.3 miles per kWh. As with any EV, cold weather and motorway speeds will pull real-world figures below the official number.

It depends entirely on what's available at the time - the cheapest version changes as offers are refreshed, and it isn't always the entry trim. The deals listed below are for the A6 Estate only, so you can see the current position for yourself.
