Alpine A390 Lease Deals

The Alpine A390 is a five-seat, all-wheel-drive electric hatchback with an 89 kWh battery, up to 345 miles of WLTP range and a 532-litre boot. Two trims are offered, GT and Premiere Edition, with 21" Alloy and 22kW packs available as options.

The Alpine A390 is a five-seat electric hatchback with all-wheel drive, an 89 kWh battery and up to 345 miles of WLTP range. It's the practical Alpine: family-sized, 4.62 m long, with a 532-litre boot, but engineered to drive like something much smaller.

In Alpine's line-up it's the model you can actually use every day, sitting alongside the brand's smaller sports and hot-hatch models rather than replacing them. Road testers describe it as a serious driver's car that happens to seat five, with steering and body control that flatter its size.

The choice is refreshingly simple. One body, one electric powertrain, and two trims - GT and Premiere Edition - with a 21" Alloy Pack and a 22kW Pack available as optional additions.

About the Alpine A390

The A390 is a performance-led electric hatchback built around driving feel first and comfort second. It offers 394-463 bhp depending on version, all-wheel drive, 0-62 mph in 3.9-4.8 seconds and a 532-litre boot that grows to 1,643 litres with the rear seats folded.

Reviewers consistently praise the steering, the torque vectoring and the way a car of 2,121-2,124 kg shrinks around you on a good road. The common criticisms are just as consistent: rear headroom is tight under that sloping roof, and cabin ambience doesn't always match the money. Euro NCAP awarded four stars, and Alpine covers the car with a three-year, 60,000-mile warranty.

Why lease an Alpine A390?

Leasing suits a car like this because you fix your monthly cost for the term and hand it back at the end, without worrying what a low-volume French performance EV is worth in three or four years. That's the practical case; the equipment case is strong too.

Every A390 gets adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, matrix LED headlights, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a powered tailgate, keyless entry and start, wireless charging, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate, privacy glass and a heat pump - useful on an EV in winter. Driver assistance includes rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, traffic sign recognition, automatic high beam and autonomous emergency braking.

Worth knowing before you order: there's a tyre repair kit rather than a spare, and insurance group 44 means it's worth getting a quote early.

Which A390 powertrain is right for me?

There's one powertrain, so the decision is really whether electric works for you rather than which engine to pick.

Electric, 89 kWh

An 89 kWh battery, 394-463 bhp, automatic and all-wheel drive, with WLTP range of 308-345 miles depending on version. It charges at up to 150 kW, taking 15-80% in 27 minutes on the best version, and 15-100% in four hours at 22 kW at home. It suits drivers who can charge regularly and want performance without fuel.

Which A390 trim should I choose?

Two trims, both 394 bhp in entry form and both all-wheel drive, so the decision is about seat technology rather than performance.

GT

GT rides on 20-inch "Cristal Diamond Cut" alloys with leather upholstery, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a heated steering wheel in Deep Blue Nappa leather with a mid point, a 360-degree camera with around view monitor, front, rear and side parking assistance and intelligent adaptive cruise control. Massaging, memory, electrically adjustable and sports seats are all available as options.

The GT is currently available from £617.32 a month.

Premiere Edition

Premiere Edition makes those seat options standard: massaging front seats, electric seat memory, an electrically adjustable driver's seat and sports seats. It swaps to 20-inch "Atelier Cristal" alloys, keeps the leather upholstery, and is the version to choose if you cover long distances and want the seats sorted from the start.

The Premiere Edition is currently available from £650.21 a month. Against the GT, that is currently £32.89/mo more expensive.

Both trims can take the 21" Alloy Pack, which changes the look and the tyre choice, or the 22kW Pack for faster home and destination AC charging. If you regularly park somewhere with a 22 kW supply, that second one earns its keep.

Alpine A390 FAQs

It works as a family car, with five seats, five doors and a 532-litre boot that opens up to 1,643 litres. The caveat reviewers raise repeatedly is rear headroom - the sloping roofline costs space for taller adults in the back, so sit in it before you commit.

WLTP range is 308-345 miles depending on the version, from the 89 kWh battery. As with any EV, cold weather, motorway speeds and bigger wheels reduce that. Our electric car guide explains how WLTP figures translate to real journeys.

Rapid charging peaks at 150 kW, giving 15-80% in 27 minutes on the best version. At home or at work, the best version takes 15-100% in four hours at 22 kW. The 22kW Pack is the option to look for if that matters to you - see how to charge your electric car.

Euro NCAP gave the A390 four stars, scoring 74% for adult occupant protection, 85% for child occupant, 80% for vulnerable road users and 77% for safety assist. Autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist, rear cross-traffic alert and a 360-degree camera are standard across the range.

Alpine covers the car for three years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. The battery has its own cover of eight years or 100,000 miles, guaranteeing 70% of capacity - which outlasts a typical lease term comfortably.

It depends entirely on what's available at the time, as rentals move with term, mileage, initial rental and stock. The GT is currently from £617.32 a month. Check the live A390 deals below for today's position, or ask our team.
