When you put your name to a product, it needs to be right; legendary Danish car designer Henrik Fisker thinks he has it right this time.

We say this time because this is Fisker’s second attempt to disrupt the automotive world through ingenious engineering, innovation, and affordable, sustainable electric cars; his Manhattan Beach, California-based company Fisker Inc. founded in 2016 with his wife, Geeta Gupta Fisker, appears to have ticked the all the boxes with its new range of Crossover SUV`s.
Fisker is responsible for designing famous premium sports cars, such as the Aston Martin DB9, V8 Vantage and the iconic BMW Z8.

Fisker Automotive 2007-2014
The initial venture in 2007 saw Fisker Automotive launch, which produced an innovative plug-in hybrid sports car called the Fisker Karma; a series of unfortunate events and unlucky management decisions led to Henrik Fisker leaving and starting his current company Fisker Inc.
Fisker Automotive was sold to Chinese automaker Wanxiang, with Fisker retaining the rights to the logos on the trademarks.
Wanxiang Group transformed the assets of Fisker Automotive into a new company called Karma Automotive, launching the Karma Revero plug-in hybrid.

How to order your Fisker
We can't wait for Fisker to come to the UK. And as soon as it does, ordering your new Fisker Ocean from FVL will be hasslefree. Your Fisker lease will include delivery to your door, the full Fisker warranty, and road tax for the length of the lease, and we will be here throughout your contract for that added peace of mind.
You may choose to have your new Ocean covered with a maintained lease agreement. This includes all your servicing, maintenance (over and above the warranty), and premium branded tyres (even puncture repairs). All you have to do is insure it and add in some electrons.

Sustainable Mobility
California buzzwords and throw-away environmental virtue signalling are something you'd expect from a California-based company; however, in Fisker Inc's case, they back up what they say and put it into practice.
The first launch car, the Ocean SUV, has innovative styling features like the SolarSky™, which is a full-length solar-panelled roof that can harvest the Sun’s rays to generate free energy to support the onboard battery-powered motor.
The development of a Powerbank gives your car a bio-directional onboard charger that can be used to power appliances and electronics.
The whole interior has beautifully crafted, ethically sourced upcycled materials, including high-grade upholstery, carpets and interior details made from recycled plastic bottles, repurposed rubber waste worn-out T-shirts and abandoned fishing nets pulled from the ocean.
The Future of Fisker
India and the Pear
in 2022 Henrik Fisker announced that Fisker Inc would initially set up its first India subsidiary as a technology centre in Hyderabad.
The plan is there for a team of 300 software engineers to work mainly on software technologies for the launch of the new PEAR, a low-cost urban electric vehicle to be built at Foxconn’s Plant in Lordstown, Ohio and a new plant in India with a target of a million units for the PEAR which has an ambitious sub $30,000 price tag.
