Polestar 2 in a nutshell

Essentially, if you're looking for a sparkling EV but don't want the Tesla Model 3, then the Polestar 2 is a contract hire offering that ticks every box with lots of safety equipment and some great onboard technology.

There's no doubt that the Polestar 2 car lease is an attractive and ambitious fastback with excellent handling, particularly in the all-wheel drive version.

The two-wheel drive versions also deliver lots of grip to bring confidence and the low centre of gravity from having a battery pack underneath the car delivers agility.

The electric powertrain delivers from a standing start, and this is a fun car to drive on winding country roads. The interior is nothing short of impressive and it is a premium creation with high comfort levels that make long journeys a breeze.

Drivers get an 11.2-inch infotainment display that runs on Android Automotive. This is a very impressive creation with excellent voice control. There's also a 12.3-inch digital instrument display and standard equipment includes rear and front parking sensors, heated front seats and a rear-view camera.

One of the features of the Polestar 2 is that there are no trim levels, drivers get to choose from option packs including the 'Pilot Pack' which adds driver-assistance features and safety equipment.

The more powerful model has a 'Performance Pack' that adds 20-inch alloy wheels, manually adjustable Ohlins dampers and Brembo brakes.

For those who may not know, Polestar is a sub-brand of Volvo and, as you would expect, this car comes with lots of safety equipment too. It's also a safe car, with Euro NCAP awarding it a five-star safety rating.
