The Dacia Jogger is a seven-seat MPV offered with a 1-litre turbo petrol manual or a 1.8-litre self-charging hybrid automatic, in Essential, Expression and Extreme trims. This page explains who it suits, what each version gives you, and how to choose before you look at the live lease deals below.
The Dacia Jogger is a seven-seat MPV built around one idea: carry seven people and their luggage without the bulk or complication of a large SUV. It's the only seven-seater Dacia makes, and it sits above the brand's superminis as the practical, family-focused choice.
Every Jogger is a five-door MPV with three rows of seats, front-wheel drive and a 212-litre boot with all seven seats in use. The two rearmost seats come out when you need space instead of passengers, which is when the load area opens up to 2,085 litres.
The choice is simple: a 1-litre turbo petrol manual or a 1.8-litre self-charging hybrid automatic, in Essential, Expression or Extreme trim. That's it - three trims, two powertrains, one body.

The Jogger is an estate-shaped MPV with mild SUV styling cues, designed for families who need seven seats and don't want to pay for a big 4x4. It's part of Dacia's back-to-basics approach: space and durability first, gadgetry second.
Reviewers consistently praise the third row for actually being usable by adults on shorter journeys, something plenty of larger seven-seaters can't manage, and note how honest and hard-wearing the cabin feels. The criticisms are consistent too: road and wind noise at motorway speeds, and firmish ride quality over poor surfaces.
On the practical side, it tows up to 1,200 kg braked in petrol form, carries 80 kg on the roof and comes with a 3-year / 60,000-mile manufacturer warranty - a term that lines up neatly with a typical lease.
Leasing a Jogger gets you a brand-new seven-seater with a fixed monthly cost for the term, and the manufacturer warranty covering the car for three years or 60,000 miles. For families whose seat requirements change every couple of years, that flexibility matters more than ownership.
Every Jogger, whatever the trim, comes with rear parking sensors, lane-keep assist, traffic sign recognition, autonomous emergency braking, air conditioning, roof rails and automatic headlights. Cruise control with a speed limiter, a drowsiness detection camera and towbar preparation are standard too.
Be aware of the Euro NCAP position before you order. The Jogger holds a 1-star Euro NCAP rating, with 70% for adult occupant protection and 69% for child occupant protection, but only 41% for vulnerable road users and 39% for safety assist - the assistance scores are what pull the overall star count down.
The other thing worth checking early is mileage. Seven-seaters tend to do school runs and long family trips, and our team would rather set a realistic annual figure at the start than renegotiate later. Our guide to choosing mileage, term and spec covers how to work that out.
Two engines, two very different characters: a manual petrol or a self-charging hybrid automatic. Neither needs plugging in.
The 1-litre turbo three-cylinder makes 109 bhp and 200 Nm through a six-speed manual, with 47.0 mpg on the WLTP cycle and 0-62 mph in 11.2 seconds. It's the version to pick if you tow - braked towing is 1,200 kg - or if you simply prefer a manual gearbox. Insurance group 15.
The 1.8-litre four-cylinder hybrid pairs a 1.2 kWh battery with a four-speed automatic for 155 bhp, 377 Nm and 0-62 mph in 9.0 seconds. WLTP economy is 61.0 mpg. It charges itself as you drive, so there's no cable and no charging routine - town driving is where it pays. Insurance group 20.

Three trims, each adding comfort and camera kit rather than performance. All three use the same engines and the same seven-seat layout.
Essential covers the basics properly: rear parking sensors, a drowsiness detection camera, cruise control and speed limiter, towbar preparation, an analogue driver display and DAB digital radio. Wheels are 16-inch steel in the "Erelia" style, with cloth upholstery.
The Essential is currently available from £268.78 a month.
Expression adds the screen and the parking aids most families want: a 10" media display with CCS access 4hp and two front USB-C ports, a reversing camera, front parking sensors, keyless entry and start, electrically adjustable door mirrors, privacy glass, front fog lights, rain-sensing wipers and an electric parking brake.
The Expression is currently available from £280.22 a month. Against the Essential, that is currently £11.45/mo more expensive.
Extreme brings 16" Tamia black alloy wheels, a 7" digital driver display, a multi view 360-degree camera, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless phone charging, built-in navigation, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high beam, a wi-fi hotspot and power-folding mirrors.
The Extreme is currently available from £295.94 a month. Against the Expression, that is currently £15.72/mo more expensive.
