With a range of up to 367 miles, there’s a lot to like about the new contract hire Mercedes EQE SUV.

The torque ranges from 565Nm for the entry-level model, and up to 858Nm for the flagship version.
The new model will be built in Alabama, USA, and is packed with lots of passive safety equipment.
Along with a rigid passenger compartment, the car will detect whether a rear seat is occupied and whether the passenger is wearing a seatbelt.
Option of a leather-free interior
Front wheel sizes range from 19 to 22 inches and there’s the option of a leather-free interior and the firm’s MBUX Hyperscreen which is an impressive addition to the cabin. This sees the passenger enjoying a 12.3-inch Oled screen with a separate user interface and there are two other screens for the driver to use with an intuitive navigation system.
Other high-tech features include an energising air control system, and an ‘energising comfort’ feature to match the driver’s mood.
Mercedes says that the new Dolby Atmos offering will take the audio experience cars to a new level.
There’s also a range of ‘soundscapes’ for those sitting in the interior with the natural sound of ‘serene breeze’ being a new addition.
EQE SUV comes with a clever route planning system
The EQE SUV also comes with a clever route planning system that has ‘electric intelligence’ to deliver the convenient and fastest route available.
It will also dynamically react to the driver’s change in driving style and to traffic jams and calculate a better route – and find the best route for the battery charge.
Mercedes also says that drivers will enjoy an agile driving experience thanks to the new chassis and the shorter wheelbase than the saloon version has.
