Vauxhall Astra GSe car lease range

The GSe in the Vauxhall Astra GSe car lease range name stands for ‘Grand Sport electric’.

The carmaker says that the new model offers athletic looks that build on its award-winning Bold and Pure design.

They also say that the chassis has been set up to be driver-focused and deliver a higher performance from an electrified powertrain while still delivering zero-emissions while being used.

Drivers will get a power output of 225 PS, with torque of 360Nm.

Astra GSe car lease

However, the Astra GSe car lease also offers impressive fuel consumption of 257 mpg, with emissions of just 26g/km.

That makes this car, and the Astra Sports Tourer GSe, very attractive to company car users.

Vauxhall says that both models will offer among the best performances when launching from a standstill, maximum speed and acceleration.

To help deliver the handling, the chassis is 10 mm lower than its siblings and offers better stability when cornering, particularly at speed.

There’s also more control of the car when being driven at high speeds and under braking.

Steering setup calibrated to deliver a sportier feel

The new GSe cars have a steering setup calibrated to deliver a sportier feel with dynamic driving delivered by oil-fuelled dampers and unique springs.

Drivers can also select the level they want to control the suspension – so they can either have body or suspension control.

The eighth generation of the Vauxhall Astra is a stylish and popular creation, and the new model comes with 18-inch alloy wheels.

There’s no doubt that this is a GSe car with emblems and specific front bumpers and fascia and there are Alcantara-trimmed front to deliver optimal support and comfort. Vauxhall says it will reveal more specification details about the contract hire Vauxhall Astra GSe and the Astra Sports Tourer shortly, but the cars will go on sale at the end of the year and deliveries will start in early 2023.
