This is the stylish Mercedes GLC contract hire model with the all-new offering available as a plug-in or as a mild hybrid.
The hybrids are available with a choice of either a diesel or petrol engine and impressive levels of equipment.
The plug-in hybrid comes with 48 V technology and there’s a new generation of integrated starter-generator.
The ride has also been improved and of the three variants available, the AMG Line spec gets a sports suspension fitted as standard.
The plug-in hybrids feature air suspension that has level control fitted as standard for the rear axle.
Mercedes GLC lease range
The Mercedes GLC lease range also features cutting edge luxury and technology.
The driver has two high resolution displays – a 12.3-inch screen and an 11.9-inch display in the centre console – that feature the firm’s latest Mbux infotainment system.
The infotainment system has music streaming from major providers and there’s a new newsflash offering so drivers can access news categories including culture, sport and business.
There’s also the option of a head display-up too for those who want to access the in-car technology.
Optional ‘transparent bonnet’ camera
Among the new features, there’s an optional ‘transparent bonnet’ camera so the driver can see through the vehicle at the front and look at the road or gravel to assist when off-road driving.
The new model also features running boards, roof rails and a chrome under guard and there are new-look headlamps too.
The interior specification features new sports seats and a choice for its design including leather upholstery.
Safety features for the GLC lease range
Standard safety features for the GLC lease range include active steering assist, active distance assist along with traffic sign recognition and there’s a new parking package that incorporates a 360° camera.
Drivers also get trailer manoeuvring assist to make reversing a tad easier.
New contract hire GLC
Prices for the new contract hire GLC start at £51,855 OTR for the entry-level model, which is the GLC 220 d AMG Line.
The range topper is the GLC Premium Plus, a plug-in hybrid, with prices starting at £72,210 OTR.
Drivers get three mild-hybrid powertrains with the plug-in hybrid offering a power output of 330 hp and torque of up to 550 N.
There’s also a more powerful GLC model promised with the GLC 300 de set to offer 750 hp.
The new Mercedes GLC is on sale now and it makes for a sound car leasing opportunity with the first vehicles arriving in the UK next January.
