Porsche Taycan Estate Lease Deals

The Porsche Taycan Estate takes the Taycan's electric performance and adds a hatchback tailgate, a boot of up to 446 litres and more rear headroom than the saloon. This page explains the powertrain, the trims from the entry model up to Turbo S, and how to choose between them.

The Porsche Taycan Estate is the practical shape of Porsche's electric performance car: the same low-slung four-door underneath, but with a raised rear roofline, a proper hatchback tailgate and a boot of 405 to 446 litres depending on the version.

It suits someone who wants a genuine driver's car as an everyday one - a fast, quiet, long-legged machine that will still take a dog, a buggy or a weekend's luggage without the height of an SUV. Four or five seats, depending on how it's specified.

The choice here is simple in structure: one body, one electric powertrain in several power outputs, and seven versions running from the Taycan entry model through to the Turbo S.

About the Porsche Taycan Estate

The Taycan Estate is the current, second-generation Taycan in estate form, on sale in this shape since 2024. It's around 4.96 m long, seats four or five, and carries a three-year, unlimited-mileage manufacturer warranty.

Reviewers are close to unanimous on two points. The first is that no other large electric car steers, rides and changes direction quite like this one - the praise usually lands on the steering and body control rather than raw speed. The second is that the boot, at 405 to 446 litres with the rear seats up and 1,171 to 1,212 litres folded, is modest for an estate of this footprint. Road testers also note the rear seats are snugger than the length suggests, though the taller roofline gives back useful headroom.

Taycan Estate or Taycan Saloon?

The Estate is the more useful of the two. Its boot holds 405 to 446 litres seats-up against the Saloon's 326 to 407 litres, and it opens as a hatchback rather than a boot lid, so bulky items go in far more easily.

The trade-offs are small. The Estate stands 1.39 to 1.41 m tall against the Saloon's 1.38 m, and weighs 2,195 to 2,325 kg versus 2,170 to 2,295 kg - a difference you'd struggle to feel. Both are about 4.96 m long on the same 2.90 m wheelbase. If you'd rather have the lower roofline and the classic four-door silhouette, the Taycan Saloon covers that, and you can see every body style together on the Porsche Taycan range page.

Why lease a Porsche Taycan Estate?

Because the standard specification is strong across every version, and leasing keeps you in a car whose technology moves quickly. Every Taycan Estate has air suspension, matrix LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, heated front seats with electric adjustment and memory, and a heat pump.

Navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless charging, keyless entry and start, dual-zone climate and a powered tailgate are all included too. On safety, every version gets autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist, active lane-change assist, traffic sign recognition, a rear-view camera and rear parking sensors.

One practical point worth raising before you order: every version sits in insurance group 50, so get a quote early. Roof load is 75 kg if you're planning a box or bars, and servicing falls every 24 months or 20,000 miles.

Which Taycan Estate powertrain is right for me?

There's one: fully electric, in a wide spread of outputs.

Electric

Every Taycan Estate uses a 105.0 kWh battery (97.0 kWh usable) with an automatic transmission, in rear- or all-wheel drive, and outputs from 429 to 939 bhp. Efficiency is 3.3 to 3.4 miles per kWh. It charges at up to 320 kW, with 10-80% in 18 minutes at 270 kW on the best version, or 0-100% in 11 hours at 11 kW at home. Our electric car guide covers the basics if this is your first EV.

Which Taycan Estate trim should I choose?

Pick on power and drive layout first, then on wheels and cabin trim - the safety and comfort kit is largely common across the range.

Taycan entry model

The 429 bhp rear-wheel-drive version, on 19-inch alloys with cloth and leather upholstery. It has front and rear parking sensors, adaptive suspension, launch control, a power tailgate, high-resolution navigation, a multifunction sports steering wheel with mode switch and adaptive cruise. A head-up display, panoramic glass roof, heated steering wheel and ventilated or massaging front seats are all options.

Black Edition

Same 429 bhp rear-wheel-drive car, styled up: 21-inch alloys and darkened detailing. It also brings a 360-degree camera with surround-view park assist, blind-spot monitoring and leather door panels and centre armrests. Four-zone climate control joins the options list here.

4S

The 4S steps up to 590 bhp and all-wheel drive, on 19-inch alloys with cloth and leather trim and front parking sensors. If you want traction and pace without going near the performance versions, this is the sensible middle of the range - and the one reviewers most often settle on.

4S Black Edition

An edition of the 4S rather than a rung above it: the same 590 bhp all-wheel-drive car with 21-inch alloys, leather door panels and centre armrests, a 360-degree camera with surround-view park assist and blind-spot monitoring. Four-zone climate control is optional.

GTS

Now the performance versions. The GTS makes 690 bhp through all four wheels, on 20-inch alloys, and adds four-wheel steering, front sports seats, a heated steering wheel and front parking sensors. Road testers routinely call it the driver's pick of the range for how it rides and turns.

Turbo

871 bhp, all-wheel drive, 20-inch alloys and full leather upholstery, with heated rear seats and electrically adjustable, heated door mirrors including an aspherical driver's-side glass. Privacy glass joins the options. Fast enough that the Turbo S starts to look like a statement rather than a need.

Turbo S

The top of the range: 939 bhp, all-wheel drive, 21-inch alloys, leather upholstery and front sports seats. The quickest versions of the Estate cover 0-62 mph in 2.4 seconds and reach 162 mph. Availability on the very fastest versions comes and goes, so ask our team if you don't see one below.

Porsche Taycan Estate FAQs

For a family of four, yes. It has four or five seats depending on specification, five doors, a hatchback tailgate and more rear headroom than the saloon shape. Reviewers do consistently say the rear seats feel tighter than the car's 4.96 m length implies, so sit taller teenagers in it first.

It holds 405 to 446 litres with the rear seats up, depending on the version, rising to between 1,171 and 1,212 litres with them folded. That's usable rather than cavernous for a car this long, but the hatchback opening makes loading much easier than the saloon's.

Very quickly by current standards. Peak charging is 320 kW, and the best version does 10-80% in 18 minutes at 270 kW. At home on an 11 kW supply, the best version takes 11 hours for a full charge. Our guide on how to charge your electric car explains the connector and speed differences.

Porsche covers the car for three years with unlimited mileage, and the high-voltage battery for eight years or 100,000 miles, guaranteeing 70% of its capacity over that period. Servicing is every 24 months or 20,000 miles. There's a tyre repair kit rather than a spare wheel.

The roof load limit is 75 kg, which covers most boxes or a roof-mounted carrier once you've allowed for the bars themselves. A towing weight isn't quoted in Porsche's published figures for this body, so if you need to tow, speak to our team before you order.

It depends entirely on what's available at the time - the order in which versions sit on price can shift each time pricing is refreshed, and it isn't always the lowest-powered one.
