The Maxus Mifa 7 is a seven-seat, all-electric MPV with a 77-90 kWh battery, 241 bhp and up to 298 miles of WLTP range. This page explains what the Mifa 7 is like to live with and how the Elite, Luxury and Premium trims differ.
The Maxus Mifa 7 is a seven-seat, all-electric MPV - a proper three-row people carrier rather than a tall SUV with a token third row. If you need seven seats and you're ready to go electric, there aren't many cars doing exactly this job.
It sits below the larger Mifa 9 in Maxus's passenger car line-up, and it's the more accessible of the two. Maxus arrived in the UK as a van maker, and the Mifa models are the brand's move into family and chauffeur work.
The choice is refreshingly simple: one body, one electric powertrain with a 77-90 kWh battery, and three trims - Elite, Luxury and Premium.

The Mifa 7 is a 4.91-metre electric MPV built around carrying people: seven seats, a 2.98-metre wheelbase and a cabin that feels far roomier than the exterior suggests. Reviewers consistently praise the space, the quiet cruising manner and the length of the standard equipment list.
They're equally consistent about what it isn't. This is not a car that enjoys being hurried, and some testers find the driver-assistance alerts chatty until you get used to them.
Boot space is 280 litres with all three rows up, rising to 760 litres with the rear seats folded, so seven-up holidays need some planning. Maxus covers it with a five-year, 100,000-mile warranty, and it scored five stars in Euro NCAP testing.
Because every Mifa 7 arrives well equipped, and the kit that matters for family life is standard rather than optional. That keeps the choosing simple, which is exactly what most people want from a seven-seater.
Every version gets adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition and automatic high beam. Euro NCAP awarded it five stars, with 92% for adult occupant protection and 87% for child occupants.
Inside, built-in navigation, a digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, DAB radio, dual-zone climate control and an electrically adjustable driver's seat are fitted throughout. It'll tow up to 1,500 kg braked, and servicing is every 24 months or 25,000 miles.
There's only one: the Mifa 7 is electric only, with no petrol, diesel or hybrid version. Battery size varies by version, so the range figure you get depends on which Mifa 7 you order.
A 241 bhp front-wheel-drive motor with 350 Nm of torque, an automatic gearbox and a 77-90 kWh battery giving 254-298 miles WLTP depending on version. It charges at up to 150 kW, taking 5-80% in 40 minutes on the best version, or 9.5 hours at 11 kW at home. New to EVs? Our electric car guide covers the basics.

| Seats | 7 |

All three trims share the same 241 bhp motor and 18-inch alloy wheels, so you're choosing comfort kit rather than performance.
The entry version, and far from sparse. Elite brings 18-inch alloys, LED headlights, the navigation system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, leatherette upholstery, air conditioning and a rear-view camera alongside the standard safety kit.
The Elite is currently available from £752.33 a month.
Luxury takes the Elite's specification and adds power-folding door mirrors. A small change, but a useful one if your driveway or work car park is tight - this is a wide car at 2.20 m across the mirrors.
The Luxury is currently available from £776.42 a month. Against the Elite, that is currently £24.10/mo more expensive.
The comfort-focused version. Over Luxury it adds an electric tilt/slide panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, electric seat memory, a power tailgate, wireless charging, a heat pump, leather upholstery, privacy glass, roof rails and voice control.
The Premium is currently available from £832.75 a month. Against the Luxury, that is currently £56.33/mo more expensive.
