The Jaguar XJ was refreshed in 2018 which introduced two special colour options and various upgrades including a new infotainment system and the ability to enjoy 4G wifi while on the move. There's also a large 12.3-inch touchscreen to access satnav and various functions - it is easy-to-use and the car gets intelligent safety features including driver condition monitoring, lane keep assist and autonomous emergency braking. The car is an excellent motorway cruiser and it's also an agile performer around town thanks to the chassis and suspension system. There's also a useful forward traffic detection system to help when pulling out of blind junctions. The interior has a polished and refined feel with good use of metal and wood veneer to create the Jaguar atmosphere. There's plenty of space onboard for the passengers and the air suspension delivers a smooth experience, particularly on potholed roads. Essentially, the Jaguar XJ is an impressive offering in a segment that creates cars to be driven in (hence the choice of standard or long wheelbase) but this is a creation that is one to enjoy while sat behind the steering wheel where the luxury details and impressive levels of handling are to be experienced.
