EQUIPMENT AND HANDLING FOR THE GENESIS G80

The first thing to note about the Genesis G80 car lease model is how close it comes to matching the best in class from a manufacturer that is new to the segment. Genesis is an offshoot of Hyundai, and the car has been designed for driving on European roads and was also partly developed at Germany's Nurburgring.

The car is only available in two trims, Luxury Line and Premium Line. The Premium Line model offers folding door mirrors, LED headlights, a 14.5-inch infotainment system and leatherette upholstery. There's also a premium sound system with nine speakers.

The Luxury Line offers more luxury with leather upholstery, a real wood trim, triple-zone climate control, a powered tailgate and a heated steering wheel. There are various extras and technology packs that will include items such as an electronic sunroof. The 'innovation pack' is also worth considering with extra safety technology, a head-up display and a 12.3-inch digital instrument display.

The Luxury Line trim also has a pack that adds laminated glass, rear window curtains, soft closing doors and laminated rear glass - which helps to make the cabin even quieter.

This is a spacious car with a boot size of 424 litres, and it comes with a five-year warranty, roadside assistance and servicing. It also scored five stars for crash safety with Euro NCAP and there's a lot of safety equipment to help prevent collisions.

Despite the G80's size, it delivers a nice ride around town with good steering feedback. The engines are powerful and responsive to help make a good impression.

Essentially, the Genesis G80 car lease offers a stylish executive saloon that deserves to be shortlisted - it's a great looking car packed with equipment and is fun to drive.
