Vauxhall Mokka

Vauxhall Mokka in a nutshell

The Vauxhall Mokka is an impressive, small contract hire SUV with efficient engines. The second generation has eye-catching styling to stand out from the crowd, and there’s an impressive electric version too.

ENGINES AND PERFORMANCE FOR THE VAUXHALL MOKKA

The engines for the Vauxhall Mokka as a car leasing choice include turbocharged 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engines with outputs of either 100 bhp or 130 bhp.
There's also a diesel engine with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder unit delivering 110 bhp and impressive economy of 66 mpg.

The emissions for the diesel engine are a company car-driving attractive 117g/km. The petrol engines return around 53 mpg with emissions of 126g/km. Performance-wise, the petrol engines will sprint from 0 to 62 mph in around nine seconds, with the smaller petrol engine taking 11 seconds.

Power is delivered using a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic transmission. The new Vauxhall Mokka contract hire SUV also has a fully electric SUV choice - the Mokka-e - with 200 miles of range.

EQUIPMENT AND HANDLING FOR THE VAUXHALL MOKKA

The latest Vauxhall Mokka bears little resemblance to the small SUV that it replaces but it is a sound car lease choice.

The new Mokka has been reinvented from the ground up and now includes an all-electric version. The conventional diesel and petrol engines are impressive performers, and the new styling will attract attention. Indeed, the interior is also impressive and futuristic with a 12.0-inch digital display dominating the dashboard.

The infotainment system uses either a 7.0- or a 10.0-inch touchscreen. The dashboard looks as if there is just one long digital display but there are two screens, angled towards the driver. As with the latest car design trend, most buttons and switches have been removed though there is still a rotary knob for the volume and the climate control.

An electric handbrake is fitted as standard and drivers also get to enjoy LED headlights and adaptive cruise control.

Unusually, the latest model is slightly shorter than the previous Mokka X, and also a lot lighter. There's space for five adults onboard and the boot is 350 litres in size.

There's a good list of standard equipment for the new contract hire Mokka with Vauxhall predicting that the SRi trim will its bestseller. This model offers a contrasting roof panel, heated front seats, adaptive cruise control and 18-inch alloy wheels. The SRi Nav brings a more impressive 10.0-inch touchscreen that has satnav plus a parking camera and sensors. The full digital instrument cluster is also offered.

The attractive new-look styling, Vauxhall calls it a 'Vizor' design, will be the look of all future cars from the carmaker. The Mokka’s interior has been well-designed with good use of quality materials – it’s a very pleasant place to spend time.

Safety equipment includes traffic sign recognition, autonomous braking and active lane assist.

Essentially, the new Vauxhall Mokka makes for a great car leasing choice, not just for families but for those who want to enjoy a comfortable small SUV with a lot of equipment, nice handling and some good design ideas on board.
