The Peugeot 2008 offers both petrol and diesel choices. There's also an impressive all-electric offering with the e-2008. The GT trim is the range topper and features adaptive cruise control, twin-tail exhaust tailpipes and extra safety features, though it costs a lot more. The 2008 is comfortable to drive around town with light steering and the suspension deals with potholes effectively - it's also comfortable at fast speeds on motorways. The 2008 also delivers plenty of grip on winding country roads for those who want to push this crossover to the limits. The cabin has been well-designed with extensive use of soft-touch materials and for those who opt for the e-2008 then there's an app to help you pre-warm the cabin and start the motor. Essentially, the Peugeot 2008 delivers an excellent driving experience and is a sound choice for families with an interior that puts many of its rivals to shame with its premium offering, but this is a car designed for a competitive sector and it's definitely worth shortlisting.
