As a well-priced mini-MPV, the Venga also has lot of space and a great warranty to underpin its offering. It's also cheap to buy and run.
The low running costs are provided by the Venga's 1.4 litre diesel engine which will return 63 mpg and have CO2 emissions of 119g/km while the 1.6 litre diesel engine will return 64 mpg and have emissions of 117g/km. There are also petrol engines available with the 1.6 litre version returning 44mpg and emitting 154g/km of CO2. A 1.4 litre petrol engine will return 50mpg and has CO2 emissions of 130g/km.
One of the most notable aspects of the Venga is that it has so much space on board for its size, there's plenty of room for passengers, even tall adults in the rear seats. Like similar sized Kias, the Venga has a firm suspension which helps with the handling. However, this is a practical car at heart and owners will find that the designers have done well to exploit the space on board. The boot is a reasonable 440litres in size and with the rear seats folded flat this will expand to a useful 570litres. The rear seats can also be moved backwards or forwards to increase legroom or boot space as necessary. There's also an impressive amount of equipment fitted as standard on the Venga including Bluetooth connectivity, electric front windows and powered folding and heated door mirrors. Other models come with alloy wheels, reversing sensors, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a panoramic sunroof.
As a small MPV, the Kia Venga impresses with the amount of space on board and its low running costs which, when coupled with the price tag, make this vehicle an interesting choice to consider. It's not only a practical choice for families on a budget as it comes with the firm's impressive seven year, or 100,000 mile warranty, to bring peace of motoring mind.
