Engines and performance for the Jeep Renegade
The Jeep Renegade uses three- and four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engines, including an impressive 1.0 litre unit producing 120 HP and torque of 190 Nm. There are more powerful petrol versions, including a 1.3 litre option producing 150 HP or 180 HP. Diesel choices include a new 1.6 litre unit and a 2.0 litre MultiJet II engine. The engines are mated to either a nine-speed automatic transmission, a six speed manual box or a dual dry clutch transmission (DDCT) to deliver comfortable and smooth driving experiences.

The Jeep Renegade has proved to be a popular model since its relaunch in 2018 and it's a great way to enjoy Jeep's renowned off-roading abilities. Safety equipment includes electronic rollover mitigation, electronic stability control and there's also traffic sign recognition, intelligent speed assist and lane departure warning. There is a lot of space onboard for passengers and it's a nice performing car around town and on motorways.
