Of the engines for the Infiniti QX30, there's an economical 2.2 litre diesel unit producing 170 HP and offering fuel economy of 41 mpg. There's also a 2.0 litre petrol unit producing 211 HP and both turbocharged engines are sourced from Mercedes. The engines are mated to a very good seven-speed automatic transmission.

While it resembles its sibling Q30, the Infiniti QX30 has a higher stance, body cladding and this is a crossover that's worth considering. This means the QX30 offers good levels of grip on slippery surfaces and it's a great car to drive around town. The suspension has been clearly been geared towards comfort, so even rough roads are dealt with easily though cornering at speed will deliver body roll - but nothing too unsettling. The interior is similar to the Q30 so it is well finished and well-designed. Some of the safety features include a moving object detection system, automatic parking which many may find helpful and there's a 360° camera to help protect the car when being driven. Essentially, the Infinity QX30 is an interesting creation in the competitive premium compact SUV market and for those who want a stylish and well-built car with lots of equipment, then this could be the one for you.
