The Fiat Panda offers economical engines with two petrol units - a 0.9 litre TwinAir unit or a 1.2 litre engine that are nice performers in towns. There's also a 1.3 litre diesel unit available for those who rack up more miles. The smaller petrol engine produces 85 hp and is a responsive performer and should return 67 mpg with emissions of 99g/km. The larger petrol unit produces 69 hp with economy of around 55 mpg. For those who want better economy, then the 1.3 litre diesel unit has refinement and will return 72 mpg.
