Under the bonnet of the excellent Fiat 124 Spider is a 1.4 litre MultiAir turbocharged petrol engine producing 140 bhp which will help propel the sports car from 0 to 62 mph in 7.5 seconds. Its top speed is 134 mph and the engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox and economy should be around 44mpg.
