ENGINES AND PERFORMANCE FOR THE ASTON MARTIN VANTAGE

The Aston Martin Vantage car lease uses a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 sourced from Mercedes-AMG.

It delivers 503 bhp with torque of 685Nm to deliver a 0 to 62 mph sprint time of less than four seconds and a top speed of 195 mph. Emissions for the Vantage are 230g/km, and fuel economy is around 28 mpg.

Those are impressive figures, but the car's chassis delivers a thrilling performance with excellent levels of grip and a surprisingly comfortable ride.

The power is delivered using an eight-speed automatic gearbox that is not only smooth-changing but responds impressively well to the demands made by the driver.

EQUIPMENT AND HANDLING FOR THE ASTON MARTIN VANTAGE

The first thing to note about the impressive Aston Martin Vantage car lease is that the latest model stands head and shoulders above the version it replaces.

It now offers an excellent alternative to the likes of the Porsche 911 and the Audi R8, while still retaining the Aston Martin trademark handling and cruising qualities.

This is a large car that is comfortable to drive around town, though it really stands out as a motorway cruiser. The suspension delivers a refined driving experience, and the engine delivers lots of power when needed, particularly when overtaking on motorways.

Switching between the driving modes results in a car with different characteristics; the sports car setting delivers a finely-honed machine, while the cruising mode makes this a refined car to drive - even on rough roads.

The interior has been well-designed and is a premium offering with lots of leather and a Mercedes-sourced 8.0-inch infotainment system. This also carries the satnav, as well as Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity and a DAB radio.

The boot size is 350 litres, which is more than most rivals, and this is a stylish and very comfortable two-seater. There's plenty of room for both the driver and passenger and the sport seats are extremely comfortable with electric adjustment and memory function.

Since the Aston Martin Vantage will sell in small numbers, it will probably not be crash-tested by Euro NCAP, but drivers should be reassured that this is a well-built car with lots of safety equipment fitted as standard, including an emergency braking assistance systems, stability control and very impressive brakes. For more peace of mind motoring, the standard warranty from Aston Martin is an unlimited mileage three-year offering. That's better than nearly all of its rivals.

Essentially, the contract hire Aston Martin Vantage is an excellent sports coupe with impressive levels of handling and comfort in a great, well-designed package.
