The Alfa Romeo Giulietta is a car with a mischievious and sporty character and the refreshed range has a choice of three trims. New additions include 18-inch alloy wheels, a new green exterior paint choice and special upholstery. Exterior tweaks include adding a silver trim to the rear diffuser and front bumper to complement the ‘V’ grille’s trim.
Alfa Romeo Giulietta features a new interior design
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta features a new interior design with extra standard equipment including dual zone air conditioning, cruise control and rear parking sensors. To help underpin the sports car credentials from a famous marque, the rear and front sports bumpers have kept their red accents and the side skirts are the same colour as the body. There are also tinted windows and an oversized exhaust pipe fitted. Opt for the Speciale and there’s an aluminium kick plate and pedals along with new sport seats and a flat-bottomed steering wheel. The top trim is the Veloce which features more equipment including yellow accents on the sports bumpers, 18-inch wheels and oversized yellow Brembo brake callipers. There are also twin exhaust pipes on this model.
Along with parking sensors, there’s an electrochromatic rear view mirror, folding wing mirrors, automatic windscreen wipers and headlights and a 6.5 inch radio satnav system.
ENGINES FOR THE ALFA ROMEO GIULIETTA
Engines for the new Alfa Romeo Giulietta deliver a choice of three units with one petrol and two diesel options. The entry-level model features a 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol unit producing 120 HP and there’s the option of a 1.6 litre multi-jet diesel producing 120 HP and a 2.0 litre diesel unit producing 170 HP. All of the engines offer impressive performance levels and the diesel units are Euro 6d compliant. The engines are mated to a choice of manual or the firm’s TCT automatic box with the 2.0 Giulietta producing 170 hp having the choice of the TCT box with gearshift paddles.
