There are changes aplenty for the Mercedez Benz C-Class including new engines and trim levels.

The new Mercedes C-Class

Perhaps the biggest change is that the Exective SE replaces the SE as an entry point to the range and the Elegance models have been ditched – you can now opt for a ‘Luxury Pakage’ to the Executive SE which will cost £2,000.

There’s also a new 1.6litre turbo engine joining the line up called the C180 BlueEFFICIENCY which will return (claim Mercedes) 47.9mpg for the saloon and 44.1mpg for the Coupe.

Mercedes don’t offer the 3.5litre V6 petrol engine any more for the saloon or estate but you can still get it for the Coupe.

The popular AMG models have also been spruced up which includes a £530 AMG ‘Handling Package’ for the C-Class Coupe to upgrade the steering, engine, exhaust and transmission.

Available to order now, the C-Class is priced from £25,915 for the saloon and £27,115 for the estate. The coupe will set you back £30,090.
