It’s no longer a worrying rumour – Dacia are launching their new Duster at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this week.

And it’s likely that their sales strategy is going to make every SUV manufacturer sit up and take notice. It’s not just the price which will make it accessible – you can also order Dacias online and have the car delivered to your nearest retailer.
The Romanian budget carmaker already has 127 retailers in its network (all of them currently Renault dealers) and they’ve made impressive sales grabs wherever they start to sell.
I’d like to tell you how much this will cost but the price is embargoed until 27 June – but it’s going to be impressive and they will start taking orders for the Duster then.
* You should take note that Dacia have a ‘no haggling’ policy across Europe and their low price means you can’t get discounts – even if you ordered loads of them!
BREAKING NEWS (updated 27 June): Dacia have announced how much their new Duster will be. They’ve gone for an astonishing £8,995 OTR for the entry model and the top version is just £10,995! There’s bound to be a ‘duster-up’ in this segment now!
