There’s a longer list of equipment for the contract hire BMW Z4 that has been updated with a fresh exterior.
BMW says the new features help to underline the sporting character of the car and help to build on its success, particularly as an open-top sports car.
The firm says that the update will bring the traditional roadster into the modern era with rear-wheel drive and powerful engines.
As usual, the Z4 has been designed to deliver dynamic driving and agility.
BMW Z4 car lease range
There are two models available in the BMW Z4 car lease range with the engine either delivering 197 hp or 347 hp.
The former has torque of 320 Nm or 510 Nm with a 0 to 62 mph sprint time of either 6.6 seconds or 4.5 seconds.
Fuel economy for the new car ranges from 35 to 41 mpg, with emissions of between 157 and 184g/km.

The BMW Z4 has, for 20 years, been a crucial part of the carmaker’s open top offering with the third generation going on sale in 2018.
The newest version will launch in November and there’s a choice of either six- or four-cylinder engines.
The firm says it has sold more than 55,000 versions of the third generation Z4 around the world with most being sold in Germany, followed by the USA, China and the UK.
BMW says that the Z4 continues to be a sales success in what is a diminishing vehicle segment.
Range of individual details improved
The redesign sees a range of individual details being improved, including the LED headlights and the long bonnet.
There’s still a classic sports car cockpit with leather upholstery, heated seats, extended storage and a wind deflector.
BMW is also adding park distance control and two-zone climate control.
Safety features include front collision warning, lane departure warning and cross traffic warning.
There’s also a head-up display, a reversing assist camera and parking assistance.
Drivers will also enjoy the 10.25-inch infotainment screen that includes satnav and a multimedia system.
There’s also the firm’s intelligent personal assistant, a Wi-Fi hotspot and smartphone integration.
