Fuel efficiency is also boosted with auto start-stop technology, and the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission delivers smooth and fast gear changes that rival the manual gearbox performance.

Safety is also a big feature on the new Tourneo Connect with 19 driver assistance technologies including driver alert, cruise control, pre-collision assist and lane-keeping system.
There are also rear and front parking sensors, hill start assist and an adjustable speed limiting system.
Ford is also adding its active park assist which will help the vehicle steer into and out of a parking space automatically.
And for those who need to tow trailers, then the pro-trailer backup assist system will help mitigate any risk of the trailer jack-knifing when the Tourneo Connect is reversing.
Tourneo Connect has a practical cabin
Along with the distinctive exterior design, the Tourneo Connect has a practical cabin.
The second and third row of seats can be removed easily to offer a load volume of 3.1 m³ in the L2 versions, and 2.6 m³ in the L1 versions.
Ford is also offering all-wheel drive as an option for those who need to travel over rough surfaces and the digital cockpit impresses.
