View dealThe Peugeot Traveller is Peugeot's biggest people carrier: a five-door MPV with six or nine seats and, in the current Traveller, a single electric powertrain. If you need to move a lot of people and their luggage in one go, very little else does it this easily.
It's a proper full-size MPV rather than a seven-seat SUV pretending to be one. Length runs from 4.98 m up to 5.33 m depending on version, width is 1.92 m (2.20 m with the mirrors out) and height is 1.89 m, so it sits well above the 5008 in Peugeot's line-up.
The choice is simple: one body style, one powertrain - a 75 kWh electric with 134 bhp and up to 215 miles of WLTP range - and three trims, Combi, Active and Allure.

The Traveller is the passenger version of Peugeot's large van, which is exactly why it works: a tall boxy cabin, and six or nine seats depending on how you configure it. Peugeot covers it with a 3-year / 60,000-mile warranty, with the battery warranted for 8 years / 100,000 miles to 70% of its capacity.
Reviewers consistently praise the sheer space, the commanding driving position and the visibility that comes with all that glass. They're equally consistent about the trade-offs: body roll in corners, wind noise at motorway speed, and interior materials that never quite shake off the van connection.
Road testers also note that the current 75 kWh battery fixed the biggest complaint about earlier versions, which was range.
Because it's one of very few vehicles that genuinely seats nine people electrically, and because leasing lets you take that capability for a fixed term rather than committing to owning a very specialised vehicle long after the school run or the airport contract has changed.
Every Traveller gets a digital instrument cluster, rear parking sensors, lane-keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, automatic high beam, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, DAB digital radio, voice control and an electric parking brake.
Practically, the 12.4 m turning circle is reasonable for something this long, though at 1.89 m tall it won't clear every multi-storey barrier - worth measuring your regular car parks before you order. Servicing falls every 24 months or 25,000 miles, and the spare is a tyre repair kit.
There's only one, so the decision is really whether electric suits your driving: the Traveller is battery-only, automatic and front-wheel drive, which means charging rather than fuelling and no engine noise for the passengers behind you.
The 75 kWh battery gives up to 215 miles on the WLTP test, with 260 Nm of torque making it easy off the line even loaded. Outright pace isn't the point - 0-62 mph takes 14.3 seconds and top speed is 82 mph. Rapid charging peaks at 100 kW, taking 5-80% in 45 minutes on the best version; an 11 kW home charger does 0-100% in 7.5 hours. Our electric car guide covers the basics if this is your first EV.

| Power | 134 bhp |
