The Ford Kuga Vignale offers a sleek and spacious SUV with soft seats and lots of refinement. It's a quiet and comfortable cabin with some very nice upmarket touches.
With a choice of three engines, the Ford Kuga Vignale offers those who want a premium SUV experience with a nice engine range. There's just one petrol engine with the 1.5 litre EcoBoost unit producing 178 bhp which returns around 40 mpg. There's also a 2.0 litre diesel unit that produces either 148 bhp or 178 bhp with both delivering fuel economy of around 60 mpg - that's better than many of its better-known and upmarket competitors. All of the engines are good performers around town with the diesels impressing on long motorway trips.
The interior of the Ford Kuga Vignale has been well-designed with a premium look and feel; the soft quilted leather seats are very comfortable and the leather topped dashboard and the extensive use of chrome help to underline the vehicle's aspirations. There's also an active noise cancellation system which makes travelling on long journeys a real pleasure in a near-silent environment.
There's also plenty of space on board for five adults plus their luggage with a boot that measures 406 litres in size and when the rear seats are folded flat, this extends to 1,600 litres. The vehicle is nice to drive, there's good feedback from the steering and the Kuga Vignale grips the road well with little in the way of body roll when cornering. It's very comfortable car as a motorway cruiser. Among the standard equipment is an excellent 8-inch touchscreen for the firm's Sync3 system along with smartphone connectivity and voice recognition. Safety equipment includes active city stop which will help the vehicle brake when travelling at speeds of up to 31mph and there is also adaptive lighting.
Essentially, the Ford Kuga Vignale is a great example of the firm's commitment to delivering upmarket and premium vehicles within a well-known and popular product. The Kuga Vignale offers more style and comfort than many of its costlier competitors.
